I glance over to Terra, and she is making weird gestures in the air. "Terra, what the hell are you doing?", I ask. "Sooolving a Ruuubik's Cuuuuuube", she stretches every word with a crooked smile. I hope she forgets this tomorrow. I am getting heavy second hand embarrassment. "Okay", I pat her shoulder, "Time to sober you up a bit. Let's go to Best Beans". "Yay! Beeeeans", she says. I thank our driver, and apologize for Terra's noises, while having to drag the girl 30 yards over to the coffee place.

The Billionaire's surrogate secret

The Billionaire's surrogate secret

1024° W [UNCERTIFIED] HARDWARE GATEWAY: BARAHONA-SUB-FOUR "He left a physical anchor," Lyra whispered, a sudden realization hitting her. She leaned closer to the screen, her architect's eye dissecting the underlying structure of the system architecture. "Julian, the fake coordinates are pointing to the middle of the Bahoruco mountain range, but the hardware gateway name is BARAHONA-SUB-FOUR. That’s not a military base or an office complex. It’s an old industrial designation."

S.A.S.

S.A.S.

Jack returned, voice even. Around the table, micro-shifts. Luke’s chair tipped back an inch then settled. Don tapped his pen cap twice, stopped. Stacey didn’t move at all, which was movement enough. Scott placed a drive on the table with the care of laying a chess piece. “Satellite tasking. Saudi. Mexican Pacific. Brisbane. You’ll want the last twelve hours.” “We already do,” Jack said. His hand did not reach for the drive. He let Ty slide it into a sterile port instead.

Wrong Destination

Wrong Destination

Because your eyes are telling you that you need someone—someone who won't judge you. ❝Before that, I'm Daemon Gabrielle Santiago, but you can call me Daem, and I just want to be friends,❞ he introduced himself and also offered his hand. At first, he thought she wouldn't accept his hand, but he was wrong the second time she accepted his hand, and there was the path of two palms that didn't know where to go. If there is still tomorrow waiting, there will be no more problems to deal with.

S.I.X

S.I.X

There was a dragon tattooed down his whole back. Looked so lifelike. I was half expecting it to start moving. My eyes trailed further down to his lower back, where the letters S.I.X were inscribed. So wait six isn't actually a number, but an acronym? He turned slightly, enough for me to get a view of his front, but not for him to see me standing there.

“You’re burning up.” She shivered. “This happens. I’m…not meant to come back.” Her body started to sway and I held her up. “My shop…my home…it’s off of the interstate straight South. The number…” She started to fall and I caught her under her arms. “75…62…4…3…”

I was debating on giving it 4 stars because there is a lot of spelling errors. There is also a dead point but around chapter 70 it picks up speed fast. It definitely keeps you hooked with all the twists and turns. Great story line. Abrupt ending but I hope a sequel has started

I LOVED Sky’s story! Such an incredible read!!! I wish we heard where her friends/bandmates ended up but still. Praying for a second to see what happens with Heath and how Ethan (and hopefully Justin) deal with all that will be thrown at them!

bar slowly move across the screen. My phone buzzed. Ashton: Just saw Mateo in the lobby. He said the 'Silent Treatment' is working better than a sledgehammer. You okay? I looked at the closed door of the 40th floor. Hannah: I'm okay, Ash. I think the King is starting to realize how cold it is at the top.

Alpha Star and Star One sat in the dark basement in front of the laptop. “I sent the voice clippings to MRO.” said Star One. “Good. They’ll like that,” Alpha Star said. “Yes. And I’ve heard a new organization has cropped up. They call themselves SRO. Kinda like an anti-MRO programme.” “SRO? What does that stand for?” “No idea.” “Hmm...” Alpha star said absentmindedly. “Listen... don't you think this is all–”
