--- Scene 2: The Pact is Forged From the crowd stepped an elder Light Alpha and a towering Shadow Alpha, their auras clashing like opposing storms. “This Sanctuary was meant to unite us,” the Light Alpha said. “But unity cannot be forced.” “We’ll never follow a Luna who cannot honor both halves of the moon,” the Shadow Alpha added darkly. Liora stood straighter, her golden aura flickering with hints of black. “Then let me prove I can. I offer my blood as the bridge.” A ceremonial dagger of silver and obsidian appeared in her hand—summoned by her will. She sliced her palm. As her blood dripped onto the earth, it shimmered gold and black.

The sweet lavender note grew much stronger the further we moved away from the main palace structures. "She is moving fast for someone with a dislocated shoulder," Conrad observed quietly as we ducked under a broken tree branch. "She survived an assassination attempt and blackmailed my mother in the span of thirty minutes," I replied and kept my eyes on the trail. "I do not think pain is enough to stop her right now." We rounded a sharp corner and the massive stone silhouette of the Temple of the Moon loomed ahead in the darkness. A deep and sickening sense of dread immediately pooled in the bottom of my gut.

When she arrived at the last page, Brielle found the missing page I was talking about. "What is this? " She asked, taking a closer look at it. In confusion, she read what was written on the page, loudly. "I hereby make a vow to the heaven and the goddess as our witness, that I, Alpha Argon of Wolf Crest pack, will forever stand by my Luna, in sickness and in health, until... Death do us path," She read, freezing instantly.

I coughed in the end as my voice suddenly rose while I stated my facts to him. At the same time, Graham entered the room and looked at us with a stunned expression. The silence stretched in the room was thick with tension, but I wasn’t done with explanations and questions. “I am a silver wolf. You are a black wolf with a crescent moon mark in the middle of your forehead. Madeline is a white wolf. Nolan is a metallic grey wolf with a black crescent moon mark under his right eye. Graham is a golden-brown wolf with a big crescent moon mark on his left shoulder. Do you really think that they will only target Madeline just because she is a white wolf?”

Remembering that I hadn't even asked about names or even the house I'd been living in for the past year. The man instantly broke into a small smile there. "My name is Elijah, Elijah Gray. I am a Lycan King. And this is my pack, my kingdom. The Blodlust Moon Pack." I nodded my head in slow motion. Trying to keep remembering the man's name and also the name of his pack. Elijah Gray and The Blodlust Moon Pack. Both names that felt very unfamiliar to me. Because I had never even met the Lycan King in person before.

"If you want to come after her, you’d better pray your bones are harder than my patience." A man in black combat gear followed close behind, sparing Fred a single, lethal glance. "You’re an outside Alpha of low standing. You have no right to even breathe the same air as her. Get out." Fred’s instincts flared; he tried to push back with his own dominance, but the moment his eyes landed on the Dark Moon emblem on the man’s chest, the color drained from his face. He couldn't even manage a whisper. He simply turned and walked out. I stared at the man in combat gear. His features were a mirror of my mother’s—the same sharp jawline, the same piercing eyes. He approached the bed, his gaze softening

“Even if you still don't like me, the fact that I'm his wife won't change. I am now the Luna of White Pride!” “You are a rude woman, Nadine Smith!”

Sebastian adds and River nods in agreement. "Tons of lgbtq+ artists out there, who just need some kind of boost. If even not school, what about startup funds for up and coming young brands?" River asks and Sebastian nods. "That could easily be worked in." He sits forward, listening intently as the ideas pour out. "Think about it." River states, placing his wine glass down atop the table. "A lot of them have the talent, so why not endorse those talents? BlackWell is a non-profit, they won't owe the foundation a thing."

Something unspoken. He cleared his throat and began the ancient rite, his voice low and steady: “I, Alpha Knox Black, Lycan Prince of Wales of the Lycan Kingdom, welcome you, Lydia Michael, into the Blue Moon Pack. You are forever bound—with pain, with blood, and with life—to this pack until you are ready to sever the ties.” Each word pulsed through her like electricity. When they separated, he wiped their hands with a soft cloth. Her throat tightened. Her skin burned. Was this real?

Suddenly, it became windy. A dark form climbed out of the trees at the far end of the opening, and as it appeared, its silhouette fell into shade. Giant, its appearance was one of the forces of nature. The distinct sound of claws crisscrossing stone rang through the clearing as the thing moved, its glowing eyes fixed on us. My breath caught as I realized the monster before me was a huge lycan, bigger than any I had ever seen, its fur as black as midnight. This was no ordinary wolf, and the power that pulsed from it was unlike anything I had ever met.
