I sipped my drink, forcing myself to focus. Rick appeared with his hair combed, fresh polo shirt and ash sweatpants, like he hadn't just had his legs in the air, drilling his own ass. We know the attackers call themselves the Marching Tides and they are led by a man only known as ‘Rick’.” Frank’s eyebrows rise in surprise, momentarily. “That’s . . . impressive,” he says. “I suppose I can reveal to you that the F.B.I. has heard rumors about the Marching Tides for several months now, and they were certainly on our list of suspects for the two attacks, but we had by no means definitively pinned them as the culprits. As for this ‘Rick’ character, I’m afraid you have more information on him than I do; this is the first I’ve heard of him.”
