The Collision

We flew the convoy throughout the facility, hoping to catch up to the others just in time. When we finally reach them, we saw them against a powerful hybrid with dreadlocks and what’s living Monsters made of stone.

Guys, we’re back! ” I said to the others as we flew towards them.

“Whoa! ” Energygrid said as she turned her attention from the stone creature she was fighting. ” Took you guys long enough!”

The stone creature took that moment to through a fist at Energygrid. Only for Warzone to shoot the creature’s head off by summoning a construct of the laser gun, she took from one of the Vanity guards.

" Holy crap!” Energygrid said. ” You saved me? ”

" Why should you have all the fun?!” War zone said.

The hybrid attacking them then turned his attention towards the rest of us.

" Must be my lucky day! He said. Now I get to kill all six the ominous all by myself.”

" hey, guys! Care to fill us into who our friend here is ? ” yin yang asked.

" long story short. Causing self Plymouth, he’s a hybrid that can manipulate gravity. And apparently, he has a desire to kill us.” Vicegrip said.

“Controlling gravity? “Ying yang said. ” Sure! Why not make it difficult for us.

Then what’s the story with these giant rock creatures? War zone said.

" Concert Jungle over here used his powers to build these things! ” Energygrid said. ” Then this strange purple cloud, wrapped around them and turned them to life!”

" You losers talk too much! ” Plymouth said. ” Maybe I’ll do the boss a favor a waste you all here and now? ”

" We just took down your to pets rocky! ” Energygrid said. ” So you and what army ?!”

" This one! ” Plymouth said.

“Then out of the sky, Stronghold crashes down to the field.

" Having fun Omni - geeks?!” Stronghold said.

Then another familiar enemy walked out of the facility gate. It was indigo!

" Hey! ” Indigo said. ” Let's show these heroes how real hybrids fight!

Whoever thought that a simple rescue mission would turn into an all-out hybrid vs hybrid battle!

There we were facing off against Plymouth, Indigo, and Stronghold outside the beat-down Vanity facility. Each one was hard enough to fight alone. But now that all three of them were here, we knew we had our hands full.

" Hope you're ready to die Ominous!” Indigo said. Her arms then started to emit green electricity. She used that electricity to make two lightning rods, trolled around in three circles, and then shot them at us.

" Not gonna happen chica!” Energygrid said.

Energygrid then slammed her palms to the ground, summoning a wall of Ruby quartz to block Indigo’s attack. The light that came from the impact of her wall against the green lightning blinded us from our attackers.

When the large flash died down, all we saw was Stronghold rushing towards us and tackling the wall, breaking it instantly!

The crash sent off a shockwave that knocked Energygrid six feet back.

" Ahhhh!” Energygrid said. She slowly lifted herself up as the rest of us ran to her.

" Energygrid! Are you okay? ” Ying yang said.

" Ouch! ” she said. ” These guys are tough!”

Stronghold then jumped ten feet in the air toward us. As he started to fall down, he flexed his arms behind his head and was about to slam his arms on top of us.

Only for Primal to summon the abilities of a gorilla, a turtle, and an eagle to catch Stronghold’s forearms.

The ground under his feet shot out from underneath him, shattering into multiple pieces.

A few of the pieces flew towards but fortunately, Ying yang used his telekinesis to stop the pieces from hitting us.

" Okay guys, Spill !” Energygrid said as Ying yang helped her up. ” We told you about the Buffalo soldier with the gravity fetish! Now, what’s the story with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Slumdog Electrioner over there? ”

" The big guy calls himself Stronghold ” War zone said. ” As you can see, he’s a hybrid with super strength and invulnerability. ”

" As for the girl, She calls herself Indigo,” I said. ” She’s a telepath like me! Who apparently can shoot green lightning from her arms! ”

" For the record, we didn’t know She could do that last part until now !” Ying yang said.

" Wait! Another psychic ?!” Energygrid said. ” No offense Medulla but you guys really need a ” 1-800" number !” ”

" Somewhat offended! ” I said to her and lowered my eyebrow. ” But now that we all know what we’re up against, let’s give Rick a hand !”

As Primal and Stronghold struggled to take the other one down, we saw Indigo supercharge her arms to attack us again.

" I’m on it! ” Energygrid said. Then she rushed off to fight Indigo.

" Adrian doesn't!” Ying yang said. But she was halfway towards the facility.

She crystallized her arms and flew towards Indigo to stop her from shooting any more lightning at us.

" Wrong move Senorita! ” Plymouth said as he arched his back.

He ran towards her, took a leap two feet in front from Energygrid, and released a dark grayish-blue energy field from his hands that sent her flying in the opposite direction.

“Adrian!” Ying yang shouted.

He ran towards her as she was being repelled by Plymouth’s attack. Using his telekinesis, he caught her in mid-air.

While this was happening, Indigo charged up her attack and shot two massive lightning beams towards them. Fortunately, Warzone stepped in and used a shield she had generated to block the attack.

After that happened, Plymouth used his gravity powers to manipulate the wreckage on the facility floor and repelled them against us.

But Vicegrip then charged up his arms to slice up the debris.

Then Primal kneed Stronghold in his gut to weaken his hold on him.

" Ouch! You son of a bitch! ” Stronghold said. He then pulled back his arm and slammed Primal’s head on the ground.

" Primal!” I screamed. ” I then used my tiger shrouds and flew above Stronghold while he kept his hand pressed down on Rick’s head.

As I flew down towards Stronghold, I used my tiger shrouds to clutch my hand onto his head.

“Gahhhh!” Stronghold screamed as I stunned him with my shrouds.

He then loosened his grip and stumbled back to two feet away.

" Rick! Are you ok? ” I said.

" I’ve felt better !” Primal said

"You're about to feel a lot worse,” A mysterious voice said.

Then another dark, purplish cloud started to surround us and we lost all sight of our attackers.

" Stop wasting time! ” The voice said. ” The boss is expecting us back! Take the first target and let’s get out of here!

We struggle to find ourselves out of that dark cloud. We had no idea where it came from but all we did know was that it didn’t mean anything good.

"We have to fly up! " Yin yang said.

Then we all struggle to find each other and those of us who could fly help those who couldn’t. I was able to find them in Vicegrip and left him out while the energy grid helps Ying yang get out of the Dark Cloud.

"Wait !" I said. "Where’s Primal and Warzone? I don’t see him anywhere!"

Then in the middle of the dark cloud, we saw a tornado begin to form within it. It kept spinning rapidly be clockwise until the cloud itself dissipated and we could see Primal and Warzone.

Apparently, Prime had summoned the speed of a cheetah to run in the middle of the crowd so he could form a tornado to erase it.

As soon as the dust cleared, our attackers were nowhere to be found. All that was left was the wreckage of the facility and one of the two that they were after carrying a hybrid.

We flew down towards the Convoy to see it be ripped open and the remaining hybrid was still in to completely unconscious.

Which do you think you can get them out? Yang Yang asked.

"I should be able to hack into the security system! " Primal said.

He pulled out a tablet to hack into the two systems.

Eventually, he was able to override its security program. The remaining pod slowly began to release the hybrid that it had contained.

We weren’t sure what to expect after the gas had cleared. But hopefully, it would lead to a new friend and not another foe!
