Rick Riorden Novels & Stories

He was feeling like a complete idiot at that time. Rick walked up to Rodger and said "So, you came here to kill me, did you? What have I ever done to you to make you take such action against me?" Rodger almost spat at Rick before saying "You are the reason my friend Robin Wright is in prison! You are also the reason I and my business associates are loosing money hand over fist the world over! You deserve nothing less than death!"

Riordan nodded as he followed me into the office. I reminded myself he was one of the Firewolf survivors, thus the Irish accent. I hadn’t read too deeply into anyone’s files, so I knew his name, age, and gift. But that’s why we are having these meetings. It’s a chance for me to get to know the people that will possibly be responsible for my safety on any given day.

I ask. “His name is Anton, and he is one of the head warriors for the pack. Kyran and I work with him a lot. He is smart, and we have never had a problem with him. Why?” Riordan says. “I have seen him around a few time and I get a weird feeling each time I do.” I admit. “I can talk with the alpha and see if he knows anything else, but he has always been loyal.” Riordan tells me.

The same Don Juan, flattering women. "Thank you. It's a pleasure, Mr. Ryan," he greets her. "Just Robert, my dear." I approach him to hug him. "How are you, Ryan?" I ask while watching my mother talking to Kate. "Trying to convince your mother to stay here for more than a month this time. And you?" "Doing well." "Did you watch the Bears game this week?" "No, I didn't have time." "They won big. Let's go! We were drinking beer before you guys arrived. Your brother must be almost drunk."

She offered it to him. Riordan shook his head. “I have mine, thank you.” He fished his matching coin from his pocket, tapped it on the table twice, then left. Rosaly traced the edge of hers with her finger as she became lost in thought. She hoped he listened to her. He was one of her best at ferreting out information she requested, especially within the preternatural community. He was unique enough that he didn’t usually cause suspicion or alarm. In human form, his aura and power were low, and he was almost timid in his cautious approach, but in truth, he had enough backbone to do what was necessary. And, he didn’t smell like a preternatural. In human form.

I would not allow myself to be swayed by Riordan. I had to remind myself again of the type of man he was and why getting close to him was extremely dangerous. He was the reason a lot of wolves were homeless. Riordan was cruel, he tore parents apart from their children. Killed without mercy. He lacked empathy. Arrogant and thought the world belonged to him. That was what earned him the infamous name—the psychotic Rogue King. I could still remember how I trembled in fear when Riordan sent a threatening letter to our pack out of nowhere.

He had a light stubble on his chin and he became more muscular. 'But Philip is still more handsome.' 'Whoa... Why am I comparing them?' "I see you've already met Rob," A voice snapped me out of my thoughts. "Hey man," Rob greeted as they hugged briefly. "Rob this is my fiancee, Giordana Quinton," Philip said. 'They know each other?' "Wait, what? Giordana is your fiancee?" Rob asked, looking a bit displeased. "Of course. You got any problem with that?" he shot back.

His wild curls are tied back with a hair band and he looks up when Ryder enters. “Ryder!” He greets him. “Sit.” “I need a stronger dose of the medicines,” Ryder warily tells him. “The regular doses aren’t enough.” “You need more than a strong dose,” the doctor replies. The tag on the doctor’s chest flashes his name: Jordan Ronan. “Your state isn’t good,” Ronan goes on. “I’ve gone through your latest medical tests and it shows that you don’t have much time left. ROOSTER & RONI "I'm tellin' you, you're insane," Denise Walker told her sister-in-law, Sharon Hancock, as the two of them sat in the office at Walker's Wheels. They were supposed to be going over inventory, but Sharon, known to everyone as Roni, was laying out all her troubles and Denise was telling her how crazy she was. "I'm not," Roni shook her head. "I think he misses it." The he in the conversation was Roni's husband Rooster, member of the Heaven Hill MC, former Warren County Sheriff's Deputy.
