n"?" "Mmm... Is it a question, or is it a statement?" She said to the girl who had just intervened, who laughed with her cheeks flushed. "Let's see, who has seen this..." she drew the letter much bigger, it looked like a cute cartoon, "this letter here?" She looked at the girl, pointing to the blackboard with the marker pen. "Which is very similar to "n", that's right. Who can tell me the name of this letter?" She looked at everyone, no one was saying anything.

Not enough to kill it but enough to send a message. The envelope tied to its leg was black, matte, waxy, sealed with a deep crimson wax stamp shaped like a fang. There was no crest or initials. Just the plain threat. I untied it slowly. The raven didn’t protest. It only stood there, quiet with it’s feathers slick with rain and blood. I opened the letter. One word and a symbol of a dagger. Try. That was it. There were no threats or declarations. Just a challenge. My jaw locked tight. I held the letter between two fingers and walked it over to the fireplace. I didn’t hesitate. I tossed it in and watched the black parchment catch flame and curl inward, turning to ash without a sound.

We were both curious. "What is this now?" I asked, unfolding the paper slowly while the music kept playing around us. Iris leaned in trying to see mine before I pulled it back. "Tell me what yours says " he said, his tone light, but still attentive. I held it up to the light. My eyes scanned the single letter on it. I blinked, confused, and looked up. "It is an L " I said slowly looking around the room. I saw two other women standing, holding the same papers.

Belle was still struck by the letter as she continued to clean the room. The blood had been cleaned but the image didn’t leave her mind. Why did Rachel send those letter to their grandmother? What does she meant by ‘him’? Was it truly a poem? An enigmatic code? But Belle couldn’t find any hidden code which only her or her grandmother would understand. A warning? No… it didn’t felt like one to Belle.

He bent and lifted the petal,then fisted it and grinned. He really shouldn't do that. "You really shouldn't do that,"I told him. He ignored me and wrote his answer on the wall. Lena raised an eyebrow with a smile, "Isn't a riddle meant to be a puzzle for people to solve? Looks like you're stumped!" Someone nearby said, "Can you give us a hint? Is it an animal? A plant?" Lena didn't hesitate and gave a hint. "It's a name of a medicine, a traditional medicine name."

“It goes something like this- I am perfect, impossible, permanent, and guaranteed. What am I?” Valencia heard the riddle and began thinking about an answer while Freyge got up from his seat and began sharing his frustration, “Archon, for the last few days, I have done nothing save trying to come up with an answer. This riddle seems simple but it is very complex. I tried thinking of everything related to werewolves, mages, our conflict, humans, and anything else that I could. I even wrote down the alphabets trying to decode a hidden pattern but I found nothing…”

The twins' brothers clapped at me while the couple congratulated me and Henry gave me the envelope containing the clue and the last location.

His will was made of some solid metal. "Do you need anything?" I asked, folding my hands across my chest. A smile crossed his lips. "Not me, but you need to read this." He handed me an ivory-colored letter. It had one word written in the center of it in beautiful cursive. Riley I stared at the letter. "I don't think I need to tell you who the letter is from," Ezra said. "Don't ask me where he is; don't ask me how to reach him. Just read it."
