He kept stealing glances at me, like he was trying to make sure I was still breathing. He shouldn’t look at me like that. Like I’d done something heroic. I hadn’t thought — I’d just moved. Instinct. Training. That’s all. But when his gaze met mine in the dim light, something tightened in my chest. For the first time, I wasn’t sure if I’d taken that bullet because it was my job… or because it was him. The ride back felt longer than it should have. The sound of rain against the car roof was the only thing filling the silence. I kept my hand pressed against the tissue, trying not to let the pain show. It burned like hell, but I wasn’t about to let Neo see that.

“ Such a pretty little girl. Look at you, you are all grown. Who would have thought that unripe fruit would ripen so fast? Ava...” He took the first step in and hesitated for a bit. He was unsure but he sensed something. Someone was here, someone who wasn't part of his team. “ RUN!” Bullet ordered but he was too late. The bullet pierced his heart as he staggered backwards with blood spilled all over the place even on Ava's hair. She let out a sound of air as she waited for the worst to happen. Was this how she was going to die? In the hands of unknown men?

' I gathered her in my arms, she was breathing but her eyes were tightly closed. When I finally held her safely in my arms, the beast in me became unleashed. But, it was opened before I even knock it. He was seated on the comfy sofa and reading some book which had weird kinds of handwritings. " What happen? Why are you so much frustrated?" he asked as he walked towards me. "We have to go out..., NOW," I roared as he stretched out his hands to me. " Slow down. What happened? What's wrong? " he asked. " Athena..., she is possessed by a vampire. I saw her eyes gleaming red and her voice was totally out of her character. She is being used to quench his thirst for the blood. Can you even imagine how many lives she had taken to quench his thirst," Heidi roared.

she shouted. "Hey, I have a gun, but I only have three bullets!" I answered, opening the car window and pointing at the enemy's wheel. Shoot! "You got it!" I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw the enemy's bike flip over to the other side. The man on the street was scrabbling around in anger. At that moment, a truck barreled straight toward him, crushing him instantly to death. I felt better when I returned to my seat and sighed, "I only got two bullets. We need to go to your place and you need to tell me what the fuck is going on!"

Taking a nervous breath I step over it, as I do the salt, the mountain ash and the glue burns to a crisp, breaking the barrier and allowing us to leave. But just as I look up to smile at Baylee I hear a gun go of, my heart freezes in fear as a small bullet flies across the room hitting the purple barrier surrounding Baylee, i hold my breath as it bounces of the purple glow and it hits me in the chest, the metal melts immediately but my temper rises.

His arm rose slowly, deliberately, until I saw it— The gun. Pointed straight at Eleanor. “No!” My voice tore from me, but the vision smothered it. I couldn’t hear myself. Couldn’t move. Couldn’t stop it. The shot rang out, splitting the world open. The bullet cut through the air, silver glinting as it spun toward them—toward Nathaniel. And a blur. A huge wolf charged through the chaos, silver fur smudged with fury.. It lunged, shoving Eleanor and the children aside, intercepting the bullet mid-flight.

Rowan rushed to him, intercepting the next volley. Rhea leaped forward, blades flashing, but a bullet detonated at her feet, throwing her backward. The soldiers marched closer. One of them lifted his rifle, aiming directly at me. Marek leaped in front of me, teeth bared. “Do not you dare.” The soldier fired. I saw the bullet spinning through the air, glowing blue with runes that pulsed like arteries. The world slowed for a single breath. I lifted my hand as if my magic might appear out of instinct alone.

The space was small, and once they were inside, there was no room left for me. I moved from cover to cover alone as gunfire swept across the street. Then a stray bullet tore toward me. I shut my eyes, muttering, "This is where it ends." Something slammed into me and threw me sideways. When I opened my eyes, Stefan stood between me and the source of the shot. The bullet had struck his abdomen. Blood soaked through his shirt and ran over his hands. I caught him before he could fall, and I could not stop crying. He lifted a hand and wiped my tears.

His other hand gripped his gun tightly, firing off at the enemy rapidly. He ran out of bullets and hastily tried to reload his gun as fast as he could while his men covered for him. Several were badly injured. The car that had Belle had the tires destroyed by the number of bullets embedded in them. Luckily it was bullet proof, but he could still hear Belle's muffled screams. Bullets whizzed past his ear, one grazing his shoulder. He hissed through clenched teeth, ignoring the pain, muscles screaming as he shoved Arya into the backseat.
