“Did you ask Dad?” I ask and she nods her head.
“He will look it up before they leave to here,” Nora answered.
Our parents had changed their mind and instead of coming just a few days before, they will come and stay for a few weeks. And arrive tomorrow, a week before the eclipse.
“We will find out then, if he found anything,” I say, and I know I sound skeptical.
But just then, we hear a squeal and look up to see Riley. She is wearing the dress and shoes we got her, and she looks great. Teens say 'Hey' and 'Happy birthday,' and Riley smiles big.
