Riley boarded the flight and settled in her seat. She was not that long from going back to Italy. Anyone would be happy to go to their native, their home. But not Riley. Her life in Italy is not just like any normal person. Riley Bianchi is the only daughter of the Italian mafia don, Alessandro Bianchi. She always had bodyguards tailing her and she was never allowed to go out of the house without a minimum of two bodyguards following her, everywhere she goes. That did not make her feel treasured, she rather felt like she was being held captive, like a criminal.

Riley pov The Club's conference room feels like a battlefield disguised as a boardroom. Twelve of New York's wealthiest philanthropists sit around the mahogany table, and every single one of them is staring at me. Breathe you belong here now. You're not that broken woman sleeping in her car anymore. "Ladies and gentlemen," Brett says, his hand warm on my back, "I'd like you to meet Riley Graham, co-chair of the Graham Charity Foundation." Several eyebrows raise at the word 'co-chair.' I'm not Mrs. Graham yet, but Brett introducing me with his last name sends a clear message: we're a team. He's claiming me publicly. After everything we've been through, he's proud to have me by his side.

He didn't quite flee out of the door, but he moved with haste. Riley waited for him in the living area, phone in hand and a goofy smile on his face. He glanced up and flashed Brenden his phone. "Erin's at the mercy of my mother this weekend." Brenden grunted and nodded toward the door. Riley turned and walked with him. That was the nice thing about their second in command. Riley was both perfectly willing to talk and be quiet. He was a laid back kind of guy who helped balance out their team of loud personalities.

AIDEN'S POV The gravel crunched under my shoes as I crossed the courtyard, the sound sharp in the otherwise unbothered quiet of the place. Someone laughed nearby, easy, unguarded and for a second I thought it was just another voice folded into the evening air. Then I recognised it. Riley stood near the edge of the water with two women I didn’t know, her sleeves rolled up, hair loose in a way I’d never seen her wear in the city.

I swallowed hard, not knowing if I should at least smile at him or not. I quickly looked away and started swaying my hips to the music. Lucy kept dancing like no one was watching her and she was pretty good at it while I was standing in the middle awkwardly not knowing how to dance or do anything. Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulders and turned around to find one of my classmates smiling down at me. It was Tyler Whittman from the football team. We have the same picture framed in the game room as a trophy. Cindy proceeded to look up other members of our Broom StiXXX family. Winnie wasn’t a follower, of course, but I was surprised to see Riley on my list. Dave was not, which didn’t surprise me. He is entirely devoted to Riley. Riley probably only follows me out of curiosity. He is the nosiest person in the building and likes being informed about all that is happening.

He wants me dead and this is not the way to do it,” Archer shakes his head. “Unless he’s going to use Lily against you, like we originally said,” Dwayne said.

“Just completely exhausted from being sick all night.” “And you all went with her to urgent care?” Jessica asked, looking between me, Ethan, and Riley with obvious curiosity. “That’s really sweet of you guys, but…..” Riley stepped forward slightly, and I realized this was probably the first time Jessica had seen him in our room. “I’m Riley,” he said, extending his hand for Jessica to shake. “I went to high school with Lily and Naomi. And Ethan too.” “Oh, you’re the Riley that Lily mentioned a few times,” Jessica said, brightening up as she shook his hand. “The one who was on the volleyball team with her back in high school.”
