On their way back down the hallway, Riley kept poking her side, making her jump.
“Riley, stop it,” she hissed, glancing at the students passing by.
“What? I’m checking if my girlfriend’s ticklish. It’s very important,” Riley grinned, jabbing again.
“Important for who?” Valery raised an eyebrow, trying to hold it in.
“For humanity,” Riley declared solemnly. “If you’re ticklish, I’ll have to protect you from merciless tickle monsters. If you’re not… well, then I just wasted my break.” He shrugged.
