Riley Thorn And The Dead Guy Next Door Novels & Stories

“I bet the women don’t leave you alone, do they?” Trent laughed. “Not so much now, but for the first week or so, someone was always knocking on the door,” he replied and saw a window of opportunity to maybe learn more about his stalkerish neighbor. “I think I’ve met nearly every woman in town, except my neighbor to the left,” he added, and Johnny laughed loudly, drawing a few looks their way. “That’s the Dawson’s girl,” Brad jumped in. “Rachael? I thought she went to Boston?” Johnny said, looking confused.

I chuckled awkwardly “You know I can put in a good word for you and lower the rent.” “There will be no need, Thanks” I hurried back to the apartment and put all my luggage in the empty room. I started unpacking bit by bit till I was exhausted. I got a bed and once it was fixed I slept off and the next thing I knew. I was waking up to no sun. How tired was I? I slept throughout the whole day, I picked up my phone and I saw a bunch of missed calls. Oh no, Rose is going to kill me. I called back and within three seconds, Rose picked up and yelled at me.

"Marcel is dead. Thorne killed him." I didn’t flinch. "And Thorne?" I asked, dragging the stick along the edge of my lower lip. "Still breathing," Raven spat. "Still collecting power like it’s his birthright. And now, what's worse is that Reid is siding with him. They'll become unstoppable." That made me pause, just a second. Not enough to give him the satisfaction, but enough to breathe it in. I clicked the lipstick closed and finally turned to face him. He was pacing now, back and forth, like a man who couldn’t find a wall to throw himself against.

There was sorrow there in Issabelle’s eyes, Rose stopped herself from asking for more information. After talking with the rest of the staff to be sure it wasn’t there before, Rose found that Mr. Bastille had been the sole occupant the eve prior. This revelation made every hair on the back of her neck stand up. He may have been twenty years her elder and definitely a society figurehead but that wasn’t going to stop her from investigating. Rose knew the law would do nothing about a doll, but she may know someone that could help.

"A good neighbor is a present help. If you let my son use this place as his playroom, wouldn't he be just like your grandson? "With the addition of a grandson, you'll have more support later in life. You old fool, how can you not understand this?" I raised the knife and swung it once through the air. "If you don't leave right now, believe me, I'll chop you to pieces." Shirley stepped backward again and again until she finally retreated outside. I slammed the door shut. Her shrill, annoying voice was finally cut off. I'd lived in this apartment for two years, and the neighbors next door changed as often as the seasons.

One good thrust and I’d be buried in her. Then we both froze. Footsteps in the hallway. Was slow 'n shuffling. Dad, probably half asleep, heading to the kitchen for water. We heard the fridge open, a glass clinking. We didn’t move. I stayed on top of her, cock still pressed against her pussy, both of us holding our breath. The footsteps came back. Dad walked right past the living room entrance without looking in. His door clicked shut a few seconds later. Riley let out a shaky breath. “That was too close.”

"In a sec.' I stood in the doorway waving frantically at the girls to make sure they really drove off. With them you never knew. I jammed the lock in place and took the stairs two at a time until I was safely on the ground. I jogged untill I got to the house nextdoor and rang the doorbell, pushed open the door and stepped in. "I thought you wouldn't show up?" I gave out a shaky breathe. "And why's that? How'd you even know it's me? You've not seen who entered. Or, where you expecting someone else?" "Funny. But I'll know the sound of your voice, even in my dreams." Ray said coming down the stairs. "I have it implanted in my head." "Tsk. Stop making expensive joke. It's not even funny." My hea

I ordered. She glanced at me for a while as she left. Zoe is dangerous and desperate. I felt guilty that I made Riley mad. I called her and she ignored my calls. I decided to drop a message and I hope she reads it. Four days later. I sat down in my living room, absently tuning the tv when someone walked in. God it was Riley, she looked so mad and angry. Like someone who was chased out of the house. I turned to look at her and kept quiet.

I couldn't help but notice the soreness in between my legs, but laying next to my mate soothed the pain which made it worth it. "I love you, little mate." Declan whispered in my ear. "I love you too, Cocky Alpha." ----- The next morning, Lauralie ran into the room yelling waking me up. "Riley! Riley wake up! They got him!" she yells I sit up in my bed, realizing Declan wasn't anywhere to be seen. I pulled the covers closer to my chest since I was completely naked in Declans bed. "Slow down Lauralie, who did they get?"

And for most of the next few days, she succeeded. She focused on school. On Lila’s dramatic recaps of every hallway interaction. On Zara’s sarcastic commentary during lunch. On not looking toward Kai’s table. But life had a way of pushing her back toward him. Especially when they lived next door. It happened on a Thursday evening. Ruby came home late from the library, arms full of books, brain fried from studying. The street was quiet, lights glowing softly along the sidewalk. The Kingston house loomed beside hers—huge, modern, intimidating.
