Ring Around The Rosie About The Black Plague の小説・ストーリー

You don’t get chlamydia from sharing utensils, but it’s better to be safe. Everyone gathered outside for hot chocolate or alcohol, the bonfire crackling warmly, marshmallows and crackers at the ready. Pat and I had set it up earlier, while the other girls prepared for tonight’s karaoke and games. But despite the festive atmosphere, I couldn’t shake the unease creeping up my spine. Rosie’s presence was like a dark cloud, her eyes constantly darting around, calculating, scheming. I knew she had something planned.

I smiled and Orkhis excitedly talking about my novels, but it's seems June is somewhat silent. "June , did anything happened ?" I asked and Orkhis stopped and looked at her . "It's nothing .." We looked at her suspiciously."It's just , there is an outbreak of plague in the outskirts, it's affecting people near the river and it's spreading ." She said with worried voice and sighed. What , how can this happen so soon , In the novel , it happened after Daisy's age of ceremony .Is it the first prince doing ? But , we have to take care of this . The Saint didn't appear yet . What will happen to those people?

Their mission was clear - to scour every nook and cranny of the crop field, leaving no plot untouched. The letter had revealed a secret weapon - a deadly concoction of Royal daisies and white sap that, when burned, would produce a smoke that could decimate the swarm. Thankfully, Greenfield wasted no time in making his decision. He had anticipated the swarm's arrival in a day or two, but to his surprise, they had descended upon Elisora city's skies in less than a day. The city trembled in the grip of terror as the dreaded Black Death descended upon its unsuspecting inhabitants.

Rose whispered as though she was scared of someone listening to our conversation. I stared at her in confusion. How did she know something the doctor was not aware of. "It is dark magic," the color faded from her face as she whispered the words in horror. I gulped, unable to ask anything. "The blue mark on his arm, it means someone has performed a dark spell." "Are you sure?" my mouth was dry. She nodded. "Can you undo the dark spell? Should I ask Aunt Celia?" I asked the questions, not understanding what else could be done.

The atmosphere inside Verdant Manor was heavy. Several doctors stood in the hallway. They were all invited from major families in the country. Every one of them had a grim expression on their face. When Daisy and Caleb walked in, whispers immediately echoed through the crowd. Enzo lay on the bed. His complexion was a waxy yellow. Dario stood beside the bed while Julia sat in the corner. The doctors before Daisy had each taken turns examining Enzo, but none of them could find the cause.

I said. “Huh? What didn't?” “The date with Andrew and I.” She pouted. “Don't tell me you're still thinking about it, you'll find someone else, okay?” I smiled. “I'm not talking about Andrew, Lena. I'm talking about the little plan you and Henry cooked up.” Her face paled. She opened her mouth, then pressed her lips into a thin line. “Do you… have something to say?” “Fuck, I'm sorry, Rosie. I swear—”

Not with us yelling so our voice could cover the insane crowd noise. With a quick scan at the guy, black jersey like the black and gold player’s jersey, ripped-muscled legs and arms, I realized he is the footballer I claimed I recognized. He is Balorz, David’s friend. “You are Balorz,” I said. No way I could twist this around. “I am Balorz,” he confirmed, smiling. “Sorry. I should have been honest with you. I just don’t want to sound like a novice.” “No, it’s alright. I like you. You’re funny.”

he said flashing me his tobacco stained teeth. He rolled the sleeves of his shirt up and pulled out a rusty chest from the corner. He opened the box to reveal a set of rusty pliers, forceps, tweezers, shears and other horrible equipment and beamed at me with his palms drawn together like a child staring at his favourite piece of cake. "Like what you see???" Beads of sweat formed on my forehead and cold shivers travelled down my spine. Roselle was right about him, he's a sicko!! I tried to push my fear away and put up a brave front for her.

It wasn’t black like I’d deduced at first, but a very, very dark shade of red. He sat on the stairs beside me and took my hand in his while I tried to suppress a shudder. He brought the petal close and wrapped it around the bleeding finger. “Hold down the petal, it’ll stop the poisoning.” He said. “Poisoning?” I asked, alarmed. “You’re a new vampire, aren’t you?” He gave me a wry smile. “Black Rose is used as a key ingredient in a daylight bracelet, but if it comes in direct contact with the skin, it can cause poisoning especially for a vampire.”

City A, 15 years ago, in a dilapidated house, the firelight was slowly spearing to every corner. The fire made a crackling, crackling, ticking sound that echoed in the stillness of the night. Suddenly, the fire flared up violently. It engulfed everything it passed through. In that deadly fire, the image of a rose playing in the sea of fire slowly appeared. It shone extremely brightly and then began to fade to ashes. That rose was like his heart. Since that day, his heart had died, left only the animosity.
