How did it get there? Rain stared down at the rose she had found by her bedside the second the woke up. The scent drifting in the air and causing her to smile. It reminded her of her time in the cabin and Rain didn’t realize how much she missed waking up to the comforting scent of roses until this one was brought to her. She casually draped the towel over her arm, then abruptly halted, shading her eyes with her hand as she gazed into the distance, away from the direction of the villa. As I stood observing Blossom, I found myself wondering what had captured her attention in the expanse before her. There wasn't much in that direction, save for the sprawling fields and clusters of trees. Perhaps that was all she needed to see, I mused. When she had arrived yesterday, she seemed utterly enchanted by the flowers and plant life surrounding the estate. It occurred to me that maybe she was simply attempting to savor the natural beauty that the rest of us had grown accustomed to, perhaps even taken for granted.
