Road To Valhalla Novels & Stories

VALENTINA The drive felt like it would never end. Every single mile seemed to scrape another piece of my heart across broken glass. By the time the cab finally left the busy city lights behind, the scenery began to change drastically. We weren't heading into some thick, creepy forest or deep woods like you’d expect. Instead, the car turned onto a private, perfectly paved road that wound upward through an exclusive, high-end neighborhood. This was the kind of luxury area where billionaires hid from the rest of the world. Heavy iron gates and tall, pristine stone walls blocked off giant properties from the road.

House Evercrest overlooked the eastern sea. Each territory fit together like pieces of a puzzle. Then my eyes stopped. House Ravenshield. I looked back at their petition. Bandits attacking supply caravans and a request for Imperial soldiers. A request that seemed perfectly reasonable. Until now. I traced one of the trade roads with my finger. “This road…” Magnus looked down. “Yes?” “It passes through Thornvale.” “It does.” I reached for Thornvale’s trade records and quickly searched through them. One page immediately caught my attention.

Dr Roma said with plain face and Aisha went stiff to hear her words. Note: Dear Reader, If you would like to see character for 'Ravan' please visit my Insta account Valentinestories_1728

Inwardly, I'm grateful none of the pack are nearby, and Saelyna can't see me. It had rained the night before, so the road is quite soggy. I'm tempted again to take the back roads, so I consult the map I had taken from father's drawers. The road to Qarax is still straight, bending once through a town called Werhan, and a forest lies before the last stop, Tellyn. A 'shortcut' lies a short way from here, one that I'm sure will connect me to the infamous roads that I at least am familiar with. I pass a few travelers as well, some hail me with Fall tidings, others keep their distance, the ones that are likely to have been riddled with the rumors that I'm positive Edward and his son have a hand in

His eyes flicked toward mine, and I quickly looked away before he could catch me staring. *Aw, a lover’s game of eye contact. Just give in already!* Akira cooed. *Not now, Akira. We're in the middle of something here.* I silenced her and focused my attention back on Calum. Calum continued to speak, outlining the journey in more detail. “Our route will take us through Virethorn Glade. It's a dense and tangled place, thick with mist. Few packs venture there because of the dangerous terrain, rumors of spirits, and the wild creatures that call it home. But it provides excellent cover to bypass the Eldrath pack, which is why we will be taking that path.”

"We're formally welcoming you to our land, Valle de La Muerte." If she was surprised earlier, she didn't know what more adjectives she could use to express her feelings at the moment. "Valle de La Muerte..." She mumbled. The Valley of Death.

She had no choice but to comply. Looking at Adrian, Renee said, “If we head in this direction, we’ll need to pass through Death Valley. That’s the quickest route. There’s another path that avoids the valley, but it would take over half a month. The route through the valley should take about seven or eight days. So, which way should we go?” She allowed him to make the decision. Adrian’s expression was grim. “In that case, we’ll take the route through the valley. Ciawales is a prosperous nation, isn’t it?” He thought this might be a chance to find a way back to his own world.

If I puked, I’d be aiming for Bravo. Driver Dude drove down the winding road, the only way in or out of Orbit Valley, while I drummed my fingers on my bare knees. The vehicle was built for luxury, or at least, I'd heard such from the young men in my clan who dreamed of lavishness. But the pothole-ridden path was meant to disBravery visitors, so I relaxed and let the movement rock me, lulling me into semi-lucidity. As soon as we hit the paved street, my heart lurched.

The forest guardians nodded in approval, and Valen continued on his path, his strength diminished but his determination unwavering. Elysia - The Path of Harmony: Elysia's journey took her to the Elemental Isles, a place where the elements themselves held sway. Here, she encountered the Elemental Elders, ancient beings who embodied the essence of fire, water, earth, and air. They tasked her with restoring balance to an elemental rift that threatened to engulf the isles in chaos.
