Kadeem let Riley go at it with a cop-knock on the door, chuckling as he imagined Bob's startled reaction inside. Finally, Bob opened the door, looking flustered. He was wearing chinos and a golf shirt, his brown hair slicked in place with too much gel. "Kadeem," Bob said. "What are you doing here?" His eyes flickered warily at Riley. "And you've brought part of your crew, I see." "That's beta, to you," Riley said, crossing her arms. "Don't pretend like we haven't met a dozen goddamn times, you windbag."

Robin put down his phone. His injuries were almost healed, and he had returned home three days ago. He rummaged through his closet, finally pulling out a suit he had been thinking of wearing. Checking the time, he drove out. Rose Matchmaking Agency had arranged for Riley to meet at a designated café. Riley was acting on a momentary impulse, but now she had no choice but to go. She hadn't even looked at who it was; she just knew that no matter who he was, she wouldn't be interested today.

Baby Robbie narrowed his eyes at Sis Thirteen and imitated Jenson's indifferent tone, questioning her, “Hey, what are you looking at?” Sis Thirteen asked curiously, "Are you Lil Fox?” Baby Robbie replied in a monotonous tone, “You got the wrong person.” Baby Robbie had been a great actor since he was a child. After joining the military intelligence division, he was able to give full play to his talents. When he imitated Jenson, he was able to do so flawlessly from his attire to the fine details of the accessories he wore. He even nailed Jenson’s cold expression, unwavering gestures, and the maturity he displayed when he frowned and contemplated things.

He mumbles, looking down at his desk. “I’m glad to hear that. Now, if that’s the case, can you please be Ainsley’s helper and introduce her to everyone this week?” She sounds nicer now. “Alright, Miss Ratner.” His eyes brighten up. He looks at me and smiles, “Hi! I’m Riley.” He has straight blonde hair that comes down to his chin. It’s a little tangled and looks like straw. I don’t think he brushed it this morning. He has hazel eyes and tan skin. He’s missing a couple of teeth that make his smile look funny.

Jaxon’s POV The sight before me was utterly surreal. Riley stood there, laughing—laughing—with Ryan Grey. Ryan, the enigmatic, untouchable CEO of Grey Dynamics, whose time was more valuable than gold, seemed entirely charmed by Riley’s easy demeanor. I stood rooted in place, my mind spinning. The man I had dismissed as an inconvenience, who I had sent home thinking he’d overstepped his bounds, was now casually sharing jokes with the very person he’d come to LA to pitch to.

I yell at my big brother who looks kinda scary. "I'm sorry, Li. I'm going through some shit. I'm so sorry." Robbie sits on my bed, grabbing his buzz cut head with both of his hands. His muscular and tall frame almost covered my bedroom. My big brother, Robert Daniels is no good man but he's the best brother in the world to me. "What happened, Robbie? You look... stressed?" I trail off, sitting beside my brother. My fifteen-year-old mind going though a lot of things. Once Robbie told me he is involved in some illegal business including killing people.

I have enough strength not to fall to the floor by his feet and cry. "It was better, the less I explained. We couldn't have any complications in getting you out," Rylan tells me. He's not apologetic in any sense. He's flat, impassive and infuriating. I exhale shakily. "The Rylan I thought I knew wouldn't even consider this, but I suppose that was an act." Rylan nodded smoothly, and my heart broke a little more. "So if you're not religious, then the ceremony shouldn't have mattered. Sinning shouldn't worry you-"

Rory’s POV "We have a numbers advantage, Riley," Robbie said, his voice dripping with a cruel sort of playfulness. "There are five of us. That means five different men taking their time with her, breaking her in, and filling her with as many pups as we can manage." He didn't stop there. He let his eyes travel down, mocking the space between Riley’s legs with a sharp, pointed stare. "By the time we get bored of her, decades will have passed. I seriously doubt you will even be capable of performing by then."

“It’s fine! Really! I’m Robb’s close friend, after all! I was worried when I saw him drinking alone last night, so I thought I should call you…” “Who’s your close friend?” Roger cut her off impatiently. “I don’t ever recall being your friend.” “I…” Riley stuttered, clearly embarrassed. “Is that how you treat a girl?” Stella snapped at Roger. “That is not how our parents raised you!” Roger went silent immediately. Now Riley wasn’t upset at all because she had just spotted his weakness. In fact, she was even smiling sheepishly. So it turned out that he was very obedient to Stella.

“But what does the R stand for?” “R for Riley, as in Dylan Riley… It’s nice to Finally meet you… Gilliard.”
