As if the Earth's silence became their own, the group of water fairies that stood behind me quietly dispersed. I turned around and looked at the small group of fairies, dragons, and werewolves that were my friends and family. Thankful that we all made it to live another day. Fafnir quickly came up to me and wrapped me in a big hug. "Well, it was nice meeting you rain drop. But I need to get the flying fuck out of here. There are things that need to be taken care of back home." I chuckled at being called a rain drop. I guess it's fitting, being the fact that I'm a water fairy and about a third of Fafnir's height. As much of a pain in the ass as he could be, he really did have a big heart.

She moved as if she knew every eye would find her and had made peace with that years ago. She claimed the LazyBoy, thumbed a scroll, then looked up. “Nice butt crack, Uncle Rob.” Robert jerked upright and banged the wall. “Bloody hell.” He rubbed the spot, scowled, and—because the day insisted—smiled. “Suppose I’m lucky it was you and not your dad.”

Robert said snidely to Becky and Della, who looked at each other in total disbelief. The queen had simply had enough of Robert. She stepped forward and told the girls to get back and to hold on to each other as tightly as they could. Then the queen began to sway and chant as her two sisters appeared again, and they all chanted and swayed together. It wasn't long before Robert started to writhe and flail on the floor. His body then began to levitate into the air and he began to change. The air filled with the familiar stench of the sprite people, and in a flash of light and a burst of energy, Robert became a big, stinking sprite.

He was a puzzle piece that did not fit. My mother, Catherine, thought he was a traitor. She was wrong. Robert was many things, a bastard child of a playboy prince from the Blaze Kingdom, but he could not lie to save his life. He was Betty's cousin, though neither of them knew it yet. Cadac stops mid-sentence. "That's not very nice of you Cadac," A tall black-haired male unseelie fairy growls. Cadac chuckles. "Prince Keran, my apologies," Cadac grins and grabs the prince's shoulder in a friendly manner. "Who is this lovely woman?" Keran grins, looking at me. "This is Roisin, Torin's intended," Cadac smirks. Keran frowns and runs his cold fingers down the side of my cheek.

“This is already much better than what I’ve imagined. At least she’s willing to talk to me now.” Robert felt bad. Since when did his young master have to bow down so low to others before? Despite that, nothing in this world could compare to two willing parties. This was on Zephyr’s willingness. Forget bowing down low—even if he was all the way down into the dust and Cordelia were to smile at him, he could bloom into a flower from the dust. When thinking about it, Robert could not help laughing and quickly coughed to cover it up. He asked, “Uh, Mr. Zephyr, since Carter’s enrolling, do you want me to let the university know in advance?”

No one seemed to care. “Don’t you think he’s fabulous?” Polly asked. Caitlin followed her gaze to the head of the table. Seated there was an arrogant looking fellow, maybe 18, with striking features. He had dark brown hair, brown eyes, was clean shaven, and looked like he’d been pampered his entire life. “That’s him,” Polly continued, “Robert.”

None. "There's nothing you need to worry about," Robert smiled understandingly. This time, he chose to embrace Seira and pull her back into his arms. "I'm not a foolish and jerk like Tedy, Seira." He looked different. He still looked evil, but his hair was shorter. It actually reminded me of Nates hair. Surely he hadn't copied him right? I shook my head a little as I realised how ridiculous that was. But then he wasn't normal. "Did you miss me?" He asked, edging closer.
