Wolfbane

Wolfbane

“Why don’t you stay with me, eh? I can get you into the pack, at least temporarily, until you get back on your feet. They don’t like rogues, but I can speak with the alpha.” “What’s a rogue?” I asked. “It’s a werewolf without a pack. They smell differently, almost unpleasant. I think they smell that way to warn packed werewolves away from them. Most rogues live in their wolf forms and become more and more feral and savage the longer they stay in that form, so they can be dangerous and unpredictable if you come across them.” “Do I smell like that?” I asked, sitting up and studying him. “Yes, but I’ve gotten used to your smell now. I almost don’t even notice it anymore.”

ROGUE BLOOD

ROGUE BLOOD

Mark repeats. “We move closer,” I say. “Quiet. Piece by piece.” Lena nods. “Resources?” “Yes,” I say. “Safe houses. Watchers. Witches. Wolves who can pass as human without thinking about it.” “And hunters,” Mark says. “Only the ones who listen,” I say. “No idiots.” “What is the goal,” Lena asks. I look at her and smile. “Pressure,” I say. “Fear. Control.” Mark exhales slowly. “You want the city to feel it.”

A Rogues Claim

A Rogues Claim

As he screams out, I drive the dagger into his chest and he falls to the ground. In general, rogues are weaker than wolves that belong to a pack. They don't have the strength that comes from the unity of being in a pack. Wolves are social creatures, and their wolves weaken significantly without that bond to an Alpha. Many rogues are on their own for years before they join other rogues, so they weaken a great deal. However, just because these rogues are weaker, they have the upper hand right now. With just four more to go, I can feel my body becoming sluggish. All my energy sources have been depleted in the last five weeks and I'm just running on pure adrenaline at this point.

Born Rogue

Born Rogue

I take a break from my work and hunt down and kill rogues that have gone insane. Unlike most werewolves, I don’t kill all rogues, just the ones that are insane. That is why I said that the werewolf treatment of rogues is a problem. Often, wolves who have gone rogue to escape a bad situation and are seeking shelter, are killed or imprisoned simply because they are rogues. Ugh. This annoys me so much. Innocent people are killed because of herd mentality. Why can’t the pack wolves see that some rogues are not bad?

Rogue House

Rogue House

Ryder said in a grown man’s voice. A growl of annoyance escaped my chest “Bring it on Puppet boy” I hissed “I’ll put you down again!” I screamed throwing my fire at him “I will make firewood out of you!” Logan shouted as his shadow fire kept trying to land blows, but they were getting blocked.

Rogue Princess

Gross, this guy just does not give up. Spinning on my toes, I turn and look the rogue in the eyes. Anger is coursing through me at this point, and I am sure that my eyes are glowing silver. "I told you to get lost," I growl at him. He takes a step back from my growl and he stares at me. "Well, well, well. You don’t smell like a wolf," he says sniffing my hair.

The Rule of the Rogues

The Rule of the Rogues

She just didn’t want to feed into his ego anymore, he was cocky enough without her practically handing him opportunities to mock her. “Maybe they were picking berries or something? There are other reasons to stand in front of a bush, a hidden path isn’t exactly the first thing that comes to mind,” she tried to argue but even she knew that she was grasping at straws, just hoping that something would stick that defended her at least a little bit. “Maybe,” Braxton smirked, “Except this isn’t a berry bush and this is the only spot across it with footprints.” Damn. Well, you can’t say a girl doesn’t try.

The Rogues Who Went Rogue

The Rogues Who Went Rogue

She continued pitching the hem of her shirt as she forced a small smile and murmured, “You didn’t know. Before I became a rogue, I was also hardwired to hate every wolf who didn’t belong to a pack, to look at them in disdain, to show them no sympathy or empathy. I was brought up to believe that, if no one wanted them, there had to be something wrong with them. I was taught that all rogues attacked for the pleasure of destroying our pack and murdering our warriors and pack leaders. ” She heaved a sigh, and continued, “But nothing could be further from the truth. I’ve met a few good ones leading rogue packs throughout the years. They never wanted any trouble. They just wanted to be safe, and t

This bookie was as good as the first. I took a break from reading while dealing with my father’s passing so I love that even though there are sad parts, this book and your other Lucianne Paw book I have read so far. I can’t wait to get through the next and look forward to the last 3 books as well.

Loved all books so far!! I'm under the impression that (Chri-)Stina (?!) will surprise us further in the future! I would appreciate a relpy concerning whether she has ties with hellenic culture, since she is using lots of hellenic names in a specific story. Book #4 was a nice surprise for me!

The Wrong Alpha - A Twist of Fate?

The Wrong Alpha - A Twist of Fate?

For most people seeing a wolf of this size they’d be terrified but I didn’t feel afraid, but I needed him gone so I could do what I needed to do, so I could leave this hell. He nudged me again, I looked down once more, I know most of the wolves from our pack but I don’t recognise this one. Was he a rogue? A rogue is a lone wolf that has no pack, they are often dangerous and feared. They are usually distinctive in appearance and smell. He doesn’t look or smell like a rogue….

Fate's Line For Alpha Heartless

Fate's Line For Alpha Heartless

“Why not? We are both werewolves with one Goddess, the Goddess of the Moon. There's no difference between me and any of you!” The Rogues laughed as soon as they heard what I said. Isn't what I say true? Rogue is a werewolf who was thrown out of the pack because of a mistake they made. And the Moon Goddess is the protector of werewolves. “Obviously, we are different from werewolves. A rogue is stronger than a werewolf in terms of stamina, strength, and survival. Do not compare us to your humble people.” Alpha said with a face flushed with anger. “We are not lowly people. Werewolves are an honorable people!” My exclamation was not accepted when they actually threw insults.
