Fueled by adrenaline, Nora flung the rogue off her, throwing it over her head and rushing to her feet. She needed a plan. The rogue was definitely trained for combat and she wasn't so, it was up to Nora to come up with tricks to win. Letting the rogue get away was not an option so Nora swallowed her pride and howled at the top of her lungs. Realizing that she was calling for backup, the rogue ran for its life but it was limping now from when Nora had thrown it off her. She chased after it and pounced on its back, pushing it to the ground. She raised a claw to finish it off when another rogue jumped at her, knocking her off the wolf.

She’d taken them down so expertly that I wondered how she got into the situation in the first place, how they’d managed to ambush her. I thought about stories I’d heard about rogues. There were known to wreak havoc among packs. If she was a typical rogue then I could see how that would be. No wonder pack leaders usually hated them. So much so that if an alpha or luna crossed paths with one, their first instinct would be to kill. I thought about what this meant for my mate, and how my mother would take it. Would my mother try to kill my mate? Of course, I couldn’t let anything happen to her.

I had to forcefully tear my gaze away from Connor to face the redheaded man. “Nice to meet you,” he said, about to raise his hand,“Im-” He suddenly broke off and I noticed his nose twitching. He had finally caught my scent. “You're a-” “Rogue. Yes.” I clenched my jaw as I forced a small smile. The man looked lost for words. I couldn't see anything on his features apart from utter shock, proving that He seemed stunned at the sight of me. It wasn't a good thing or a bad thing, depending on what happened after.

They deserve to be tortured, but they're lucky enough that I'm in a hurry or they'll die an excruciating death. I casually walked towards the man in front of me- the one who was watching me being captured by those rogues from the start. He seemed to be having a great time watching me turn those werewolves into ashes but I'm curious why there's something within me that's stopping me from killing him even though I know what kind of creature he is. He's one of them- a rogue.

I sounded dreamy but he was not blinking. "Look I am sorry, Mason." I looked at him. He didn't look too happy. "I'll leave here for now," he said with a pained look in his eyes. I watched him stop at the door. His gaze was sharp when he turned to look at me. "I'll give you a few more days to think about it," he was trying to suppress his anger. He was doing a good job at not killing me. I sighed as Mason left. This was the rogue king asking me to rule beside him. Did I really want to defy him? Rogues were known for being ruthless. They bowed to no one and yet here I was in a pack full of them, daring to anger their leader.

My blood ran cold and I could feel mera stand on her haunches too, readying for whatever was next. I couldn’t stay hidden any longer. Mera roared within me, furious at the thought of the woman stuff because of us. Ignoring the weakness in my limbs, I bury out of the hallow, a feral growl ripping itself from my throat. The rogues turned, their eye widening I surprised as I dashed towards them. Mera quickly took over, her fury lending me strength. We jumped on the first rogue, our claws digging in lot his chest as I drove him to the ground. He let out a strangled cry before I ripped his throat out, his blood coating the forest grounds.

Through our red tinted eyes, the rogue fell to the ground, its intestines pouring at my feet. Moving fast, expertly shielding Freya behind me, Warrick spun around, our claws extended, catching the second rogue across its throat. It stumbled back, its eyes wide with terror before collapsing to the ground, a gurgling sound escaping its lips. The third rogue charged, its fangs bared. We sidestepped its attack, dodging its claws with a swift maneuver. Before it could recover, Warrick delivered a powerful blow to its chest, sending it flying backward. It crashed into a crack just beyond the entrance to the Tombs Of Amyrsthystiase, its body slumping to the ground, motionless.

the woman said with a wide, unnerving smirk that made me want to rip it right off her face. Flaring my nostrils, I spat at the woman, but she stepped back and shook her head unimpressed. "And there you go, a rogue in her natural form," she said in a mocking tone, her lips curling back. "A bitch." "Why am I here against my will?" I snapped. "You stole from us and you're a rogue," she said. "I stole from humans and since when is it a crime to be a rogue?" She stepped forward and grabbed my hair, before pulling my head back. "You're not allowed to talk back, Mutt!"

Rogan appeared from the side and pounced on the rogue closest to Nina. “GET YOUR DISGUSTING BEINGS AWAY FROM WHAT IS MINE!!!” Rogan screamed as he attacked the first rogue. All he had to do was send a powerful slash at the rogue with his claws and it flew back a few meters and a terrible gash had appeared on its stomach. It cried out in pain.

“Once I’m done with you.” The Rogue just chuckled. “What, a little girl like you? I’d crush you in an instant. Get out of here, short stuff.” “Dear, don’t endanger yourself for an old woman like me—” the old woman began, but the Rogue cut her off, whipping the silver blade of a knife out of his pocket and pointing it at her. “Shut up, bitch!” he snarled. That was when I had enough. Instinct kicked in. “Get him,” Ema growled. “I want to feel his bones crunch in my jaws.”
