The soul-satisfying rumble of the motor made me smile as I clicked it into gear and took off down the street. Riding my bike as if I stole it, I zipped in and out of traffic until I reached the open road. The Rogues clubhouse came into view as I rounded the corner. An old abandoned bar had been converted into a clubhouse, the neon sign hung from the roof blinking off and on intermittently, buzzing as it swung in the wind. A veranda wrapped around the front, with tables and mismatched chairs placed haphazardly was a dumping place for bottles and ashtrays.

Martin was about to say something else when they started hearing chaos in the training ground. The three brothers exchanged glances, and without wasting another second, they all rushed out of the room to see what was going on. Martin gasped when he saw that his pack was under attack again. The three brothers immediately grew their claws and jumped into the battlefield. This was the first time Martin would fight against the rogues together with his brothers. He didn't need a sword or a dagger. He grew his claws and his fangs and entered the battl

“That so?” I swallowed hard but didn’t look away. “Yes.” The rogue smirked. “Then you’re either very brave… or very stupid.” Probably both. Damien’s patience thinned. “Are you going to let us through or not?” The rogue studied him for a long moment. Then, to my surprise, he stepped aside. “Welcome to the borderlands,” he said, grinning. “Try not to get killed.” ⸻ The rogue territory was unlike anything I had ever seen.

Well shock on them ! I take a vase that is on the bed side table and smash it on one rogues head , He falls to the ground almost immediately. The others look alarmed and angry and they charge at me. My claws come out and I slash ones neck , I then bend down and stab the third rogue on the feet. He falls and I stab his heart. As I headed towards the stairs, I saw an older man I’d never seen before, but the resemblance to Kalen was undeniable. “Ah, you must be Alyssa,” the man said, his tone friendly. Okay, so he knew me. “Uh, yeah. I am.” “It’s a pleasure to meet you. I am Rogue King Elijah.” This was the rogue king? I stood there, stunned for a moment. He looked so normal. Like any other man. For some reason, I’d expected something more. Something more… conniving, wicked, tricksy. Yet the king wasn’t any of those things. Realizing I was staring at him, I snapped out of my daze and said, “Oh, hello, pleasure to meet you too.”

After regaining her posture she looked up only for her breath to get caught in her throat, those scary eyes once again played with her gut. There stood the Rogue King gazing at them with his dark yellow gaze, his heavy breathing and narrowed eyes almost sent her running up hills. Her eyes suddenly moved over his body and she couldn't help but gulp watching his upper body completely naked, he wasn't wearing any shirt, she had witnessed him like that many times in the dungeon but this was the first time she found how wide and muscular he was. She must have looked comically short and small compared to him whenever she approached him.

"He's obsessed with finding his brother who went rogue five years ago. Disappeared without a trace. If you know anything about rogue networks, about how they operate, where they hide..." My heart jumped. The Rogue King. I'd spent weeks in his territory, seen how his network operated, and learned the locations of safe houses and supply routes. "I know the Rogue King personally," I said. "I can get Carson information. Names, locations, how to make contact." It was a gamble. Giving up that information could endanger the rogues who had helped me. But I was out of options and out of time. Marcus's eyes widened. "You actually know him?"

To bad he would not be able to help me escape, he must be loyal to his Alpha or he would be kicked out of the pack and end up turning rogue. Which meant no leader and other packs kill rogue on sight due to their lawlessness and no loyalty. They are like rodents eating your vegetables in the garden. No one liked rogues. Funny enough that is what I was, my brother and parents. We had to leave our pack behind because of Alpha Keeram, many packs feared him. Unfortunately mine was one of them, my Alpha Jake feared him so much so, that he was going to hand me over like a present. That's why we had no other choice but to go rogue and hide.
