"Over my dead body!" he exclaimed, interjecting just as Killan was about to unleash his fury upon his Third-in-Command. Alpha Killan looked after the rogue again. The Alpha's gaze was devoid of any emotion. He stepped forward, his hand outstretched towards the rogue. The creature turned its head towards him, and he gently scratched its neck with the Alpha's razor-sharp claws. With a pained cry, the rogue let out a yelp.

His lips moved but no words came out. Alex, still seated, looked stunned. “Wait… that Rogue Pack? The one that’s invaded territory after territory over the past years? The one with the mysterious Alpha no one has ever seen?”

To bad he would not be able to help me escape, he must be loyal to his Alpha or he would be kicked out of the pack and end up turning rogue. Which meant no leader and other packs kill rogue on sight due to their lawlessness and no loyalty. They are like rodents eating your vegetables in the garden. No one liked rogues. Funny enough that is what I was, my brother and parents. We had to leave our pack behind because of Alpha Keeram, many packs feared him. Unfortunately mine was one of them, my Alpha Jake feared him so much so, that he was going to hand me over like a present. That's why we had no other choice but to go rogue and hide.

Rogue 1 gasped, shellshocked as he watched his ally die by this unknown werewolf’s claws. “Hey! Who the hell do you think you are?!” Rogue 2 demanded, shifting into his own wolf form. The large wolf suddenly shifted into human form and grabbed Rogue 2 by the mouth, clamping it shut, before grabbing his neck with his free hand and roughly slammed the rogue into the ground headfirst, killing him off as well.

I felt a rough tug on my chin and the nasty breath of the oldie in my face. My breath hitched, and the hairs on the nape of my neck rose. I froze, but my heart wouldn't stop racing, and my legs couldn't stop shaking. I didn't dare make a sound. The differences between our strength was massive. I had felt his rough grip before I saw it. How the hell was I to counter that? It didn't help that my opponent was a rogue, there was no talking my way out of it. "Moon goddess," I bowed my head in defeat.
