I didn’t think that he would answer but was pleasantly surprised when he did. “I don’t know why you would care to know, but since you asked, my parents were kicked out of their pack. They were reckless and dangerous. They went rogue when I was 10. I became rogue when they did.” I had never had a conversation with a rogue and had no idea why a wolf would become rogue. I had been told stories about what might happen but was never sure why. “Have you ever thought about trying to join another pack?”

"They committed a grave sin, according to pack law. After they left, Katrina and the others... they turned me into their punching bag. Like I had to pay for my parents' mistakes." She started crying harder, and I pulled her into a tight hug. She felt so small and fragile in my arms, of course nothing like the strong, happy Amy I thought I knew. "What did your parents do?" I asked softly. "They helped some rogue wolves," she said into my shoulder. "Gave them food, shelter. It's forbidden – rogues are considered dangerous. But my parents... they said some of them were just lost, hungry. They didn't deserve to die just because they had no pack."

He instructed Terah to hold me down so I wouldn't try to escape or lash out while he said what he wanted to say to me. “Your mother was a self-hating whore and your father was an easy-to-fool a brainless human. They made a perfect match that produced confused children like you.” I thrashed around while he spoke, trying but failing to escape Terah’s grasp. Rogu laughed like a madman as he said more hurtful words to me which I tried my best to ignore.

Rogue ruffled his hair. The boy moved back and made faces, "Don't call me cute. Only my mom can call me cute." Craning his neck up, Rogue laughed in my direction and said, "Now I seriously want to become his father and make more such babies with his mom." I couldn't stop the smile coming to my face. Rogue is a complicated man with a mind that works weirdly. The boy ought to have something special in him if it's making him say that. Otherwise he never talks about having kids or a wife.

" My darling ! You don't need to step up ! Go and stand back , let me protect you " His train of thoughts was broken by his father's loud cry and Rogue groaned . He turned to glance at his father who was rushing to his mother's aid narrowly missing a chunk of blazing boulder flying in his direction , Rogue caught his father by the scruff of his neck and pulled him back. In his opinion his mother was in no need of his father's help . Rogue looked at his mother , who was looking completely prim and proper without a lock of her hair out of place which was really something given she was holding a blazing boulder in her bare hands .

I was determined to learn everything about her and make her mine. “So, since you're obviously my little brother’s mate and my Luna, I want to ask you something important,” Jacob said seriously as he moved his horse toward Blackjack. “Ok,” Sloan said. “Why are you a rogue?” “My parents were part of a pack in Colorado that was disbanded because the Alpha didn’t have an heir. That was before I was even born. My parents stayed in that area and that’s where I was born and raised. It wasn’t anything bad, I just never had a pack,” she answered, and I could feel the honesty in her voice.

Feeling it was time for her parents to explain more of what happened, her parents explained about the rogue, his demands and why they still believe she can’t leave the Pack. “So, you did what this rogue told you do? You didn’t let me learn how to fight? You didn’t let me explore outside of this Pack because of a rogue?” she says starting to raise her voice. Her father quickly jumped in, “Don’t raise your voice at us Maddie, we are still your parents,” he says angrily.

As he screams out, I drive the dagger into his chest and he falls to the ground. In general, rogues are weaker than wolves that belong to a pack. They don't have the strength that comes from the unity of being in a pack. Wolves are social creatures, and their wolves weaken significantly without that bond to an Alpha. Many rogues are on their own for years before they join other rogues, so they weaken a great deal. However, just because these rogues are weaker, they have the upper hand right now. With just four more to go, I can feel my body becoming sluggish. All my energy sources have been depleted in the last five weeks and I'm just running on pure adrenaline at this point.

I say. “You have been living as a Rouge since you were six?” Theo asks. “What is a Rogue?” I ask. “Your father is a rogue; it is a wolf without a pack. Why was he cast out?” Theo asks. “I do not know. I only know that it has something to do with my mother. He said a little bit about it when he was drunk, but he never told me everything, sorry,” I say.
