The smell of blood and fear was overpowering. I tried to pull away from Alpha Lance and Alpha Ryan, but they only tightened their grip on me. I felt like a helpless animal, caught in a trap. And then, as if from nowhere, a group of rogues appeared. They were snarling and growling, their eyes filled with malice. I knew then that I was truly in danger. The rogues were a sight to behold. They were unlike anything I had ever seen before. Their eyes glinted with a fierce intensity, and their fur was matted with blood and dirt. They moved with a deadly grace, like predators stalking their prey.

So close Maya could feel it vibrating in her chest. "Rogues," Alec said, his voice tight. "They felt her power surge." Maya's stomach dropped. She knew what rogues were—every wolf did. Exiles. Outcasts stripped of pack and territory, cast out for crimes too brutal even for wolf justice. They'd banded together over the years, forming something twisted and dangerous: a pack built on violence and desperation instead of blood and honor. They raided Alliance territories constantly, hitting borders, stealing resources, killing anyone who got in their way.

It echoed unnaturally, bouncing off the cavern walls. She stopped, scanning the darkness. “Show yourself!” The rogue stepped forward, his golden eyes gleaming. He carried Clara like a trophy, her limp body hanging from his claws. “I knew you’d come,” he said, dropping Clara unceremoniously to the ground. Annabel’s growl rumbled low. “Let her go.” The rogue laughed. “Let her go? She’s already mine. Just like the rest of them will be.” Annabel moved fast, her claws slashing at the rogue’s face. He sidestepped easily, catching her wrist and twisting it painfully.

With the council asking us to be on the lookout for rogues. Rogues were wolves that were banished. Or refused to submit to pack rules. Usually they weren’t dangerous, just free spirited. But there were those that were killers, and lived to cause trouble. I was honestly scared out of my mind. The troublesome rogues were problematic but never in this capacity. They killed mostly those that got in their way but this? This was something different. I couldn’t shake the images of the mangled bodies of the victims. Whoever was doing this needed to be stopped. Before humans caught on to the fact that the person committing these merciless killings wasn’t human.

Or which ones are opportunistic enough to take advantage of the unrest. Is it Alpha Dennis of the Ironclaw? Or is it the arrogant meathead Alpha Stefan? My fists clench into tight fists. “Who?” I demand. “Which packs attacked?” Clyde looks up from his tablet, his face tight with unease. “That’s the thing,” he says. “This wasn’t the work of packs either. The attackers… they were Rogues.” I freeze. Rogues? Rogue wolves are the scum of our kind—vagabonds stripped of pack, Alpha, and allegiance. Most of them are expelled for unforgivable crimes: murder, rape, treason. Others run to escape judgment, hoping to disappear into obscurity rather than face a sentence.

They deserve to be tortured, but they're lucky enough that I'm in a hurry or they'll die an excruciating death. I casually walked towards the man in front of me- the one who was watching me being captured by those rogues from the start. He seemed to be having a great time watching me turn those werewolves into ashes but I'm curious why there's something within me that's stopping me from killing him even though I know what kind of creature he is. He's one of them- a rogue.

She was a hard she-wolf, and she wouldn’t accept the bits and pieces. Anita did ultimately beat Russell and Jack, for that matter. She was alive to go on and do the work they trained her to do. "I try to use it as often as I can to build up strength, but it's hard with all the rogue attacks on the pack lately, I can't afford to be weakened." "Are rogues attacking often?" His Wolf growled angrily, the sound rocking his brain before it fell silent. "Ask your questions." He told her more coldly than he intended. Amira raised a brow at him, adjusting the skirt of her dress as she folded her legs over one another. "Right." She cleared her throat as she casted her gaze out over the still water, "How many of you are there?" She asked him, getting straight to the point. "Excuse me?" "How many Rogues live here?" She rephrased her question. "Rogues?" He questioned, "Right, I guess that is what am, isn't it? There's only three of us. My mom, grandpa and myself."

Its Rowena, I don’t think a princess is ever going to be a sacrifice. Silence followed after I had said that,but I felt his tension ease. I looked at him in a way he wouldn’t know, I wanted to take all his features, his looks and the way he looked at me when I wasn’t starring. Why do they call you the rogue Alpha , I found myself asking. When I asked that question it seemed to get his attention because he looked at me. I don’t go with their rules princess and I don’t worship their stupid moon goddess who abandoned my people when your people turned against us or because I protected my people with my own power.
