Is he though? She asked herself again as she picked an old book with an eye-catching title. She could tell the book was at least sixty to seventy years old but well preserved. It only had a title on it but Halle could tell it would be good. She sat down on the reading table and even though she didn’t need the lamp, she turned it on, a relaxed smile on her face as she began to read, lost in the world that the book pulled her into.

The more I read the first pages, the more I forgot everything around me, zoning out and delving into the book. It had a twist, since the book was a fantasy romance, and talked about werewolves. But to be honest, I loved it since it was one of my favorite genres to read. I came back, looked around, and smiled seeing Nate, Kenzie, and myself had started reading the book. We were so engorged that we had completely forgotten where we were. Sophie smiled with pride, and winked at me, making me blush. It was without a doubt we were fellow bookworms to the core. I smiled, going back to reading, snuggling into Nate's arm as he begins to soothe my arm again.

"Let us go meet her." Chicago was a five hour drive. Liam drove. Anna sat in the back. I navigated. The rain followed us the whole way. Grey skies. Grey roads. Grey everything. The bookstore was called "Pages." It sat on a corner between a coffee shop and a flower store. The windows were full of bestsellers. A sign on the door said "Open." We walked in. Bells jingled. The smell of paper and old wood wrapped around me. Shelves stretched to the ceiling. A cat slept on a pile of romance novels.

I'll just harbor resentment up until he does. I turn the pages of The Notebook, gazing lovingly at it and carefully reading each word. Although I've never been a fan of the romance genre, when I was in the shop earlier today, this book drew my attention and for some reason, it seemed far more interesting than it ever had. I've been unable to put it down since I started reading it.

The book seemed very intriguing, causing Letta to get carried away, until she finally slammed the book shut, her face flushing. The novel seemed to contain romantic scenes between the main characters and their partners, making Letta fan her flushed face. Once she had calmed down, Letta realized that they had never done such things, only receiving touches and a few kisses. Her heart raced, and her breath felt rapid. She playfully hit her head in frustration.
