Romance Book Pages Novels & Stories

It bothers me. I call out her name. She’s not here. Her absence gives me the chance to look around and see what she has done with the place. There’s a small shelf in a corner with different books. I find one paperback on the small table in the center of the greenhouse, in which Leanna has placed a bookmark. I open the book, curious to see what she’s been reading. It’s a novel. A romance. The bookmark is at a page with an explicit scene. As I flip through the book, I realize that she has dogeared all the pages that contain sexual situations. Almost as if she’s trying to learn.

JUNE: I shut the book tight. Fast enough like it was some deadly piece in my hand. What the hell was that? I met Romy's eyes, the wide-eyed girl already knew what she had done. She had slipped the book into my hand right before we boarded the bus for the long trip. “What book is this?” I had asked, eyes fixed on the cover. “Another romance book,” she answered. “Just something to keep your raging mind focused during the trip.”

I place the crackers on the table just inside the door as I make my way over to the desk. A large book is open on top of the papers. I turn the book around so I can see what is written on the pages. At the top of the page there is a picture of a large Silver Wolf. Tracing my fingers delicately over the image of the wolf, my heart begins to race. River pushes forward to look at the pages with me. The words on the page are handwritten and some of the writing is beginning to fade.

He was so flustered that he couldn't form a proper sentence. I let go of his other wrist and had the hair on his face put aside, I wanted to get a clear view of his face. "I always wondered ever since… who's supposed to be on top? And who's supposed to be underneath? And how the hell is it going to feel?…" "If you let me g-go, I can be the b-" "Before anything happens, do you really want to do it with me!?" I asked. Only to make things sure. He nods his red face and leaned to kiss me. As our lips touched, I could feel the overflowing excitement that made me carry Toma all the way to his bed.

Back then, he had used this trick to win over her heart too. Looking back, she finally realized how stupid she was before. A man’s promise was only a lie. All the romantic gestures were traps to bedazzle the woman’s heart. The corners of her lips twitched into a sardonic smile as she held the bouquet of flowers. Matthew thought success was near upon seeing her smile. Immediately, he did as he had rehearsed before and led her toward the hall that was covered with fresh flowers. She felt a surge of eagerness to know more about Cassandra. She flipped the pages of the book hoping to find the ripped pages, but she couldn’t find them. She grabbed a different book, flipped the pages over and over again only to find nothing but dust falling. She grabbed two more books and flipped them in hopes of finding the missing pages. Instead of finding the ripped pages, she noticed something fell from one of the books she just flipped. It was an old photo. She went down on her knees and picked up the photo, and when she flashed the light on it

Note to Readers: This book is a slow burn romance. There will be loads of description of emotions, feelings and actions throughout the book reaching to the climax.
