I had learnt something else, something which had changed my mindset. From all my observations in the past month, I had figured out that Hate was way more stronger than Love. Love was nothing but fantasy, something read in storybooks and viewed in movies. It was something mistaken by others as real and true, while it was truly nothing but mere lust compounded with desire and sexual need. Something which our body hormones toy with us.

"I mean, I know... you...loved her. She's beautiful and she was all over you. I know it's expected of her, but it's also expected of you." He smiled, the corners of his eyes crinkling. "Past tense. I loved her. She wants me back, but that doesn't mean I can take her back. You don't have to be jealous." He leaned in and kissed me lightly, his lips lingering on mine. It was expected of her to try to get into his good graces, but what wasn't expected of her was his reaction. He clearly didn't want her anymore and chose to push her away, despite their past.
