Romance Fiction Author Novels & Stories

Maybe some of you readers already know me if you are also on Wattpad and Dreame but not leaving things on probablity, here's a small introduction of me. So I am Red (already mentioned) and I had been a writer for almost five years now on various platforms. I am an incurable romantic and live in my own fantasy world of K-dramas and books which is not very feasible in reality. So, I turn my imaginations and dreams maybe into my books that are gratefully loved by readers so far. I am basically a romance writer but I like to experiment as well so I hope in the upcoming days and years that I spend with my Goodnovel family here, we would get to share many interesting stories together!

Marie Lavender lives in the Midwest with her family and two cats. She has been writing for a little over twenty-five years, with more works in progress than she can count on two hands. Since 2010, Marie has published 21 books in the genres of historical romance, contemporary romance, romantic comedy, romantic suspense, paranormal romance, dramatic fiction, fantasy, science fiction, mystery/thriller, literary fiction and poetry.

Sorry for the late update this past few months I got really busy because of my task, I try to update even if it's short. To my readers thank you for always reading! You're exactly who I'm writing for. Writing romance — the steamy, unapologetic, adult kind — is genuinely the thing I love most. I love slow burns that make you yell at your screen. I love the moment two characters stop pretending they don't want each other. I love writing the tension right up until it snaps, and then writing what happens after. This genre gets dismissed a lot by people who've never actually read it, but I think it's some of the hardest, most emotionally honest writing there is, and I'm proud to spend my time here. I don't plan on going anywhere. This is home for me as a writer, and I intend to keep building worlds and couples and slow-burn chaos for as long as readers keep

I needed to cut her off. "Look, they're doing the walking around the fire thing." She said. I hummed non committal. "I read about it in this book by Drethi Anis. Five thousand nights of obsession. The book was so good." "You read?" I asked. I had never seen any book in her apartment or caught her with a book. "Yes." She blushed, then quietly. "Romance books." "You don't strike me as the romance type." I looked at her intently. "Is it one of those raunchy books with shirtless men carrying scabbards on the cover."

“That makes no sense at all. Are you sure? Wouldn’t it be a nonfiction tell-all book if she wrote one? “I don’t know what she would have written or if she wrote anything. I’ll try to gather some information.” “Get back to me quickly.” Michael disconnected the call and settled back into the car. Finally, he did what he should have done a long time ago. He looked up the author A.K. Crusader. He knew the man’s books only by their titles. Now he was curious. What Michael found only confused him more. A.K. Crusader wrote romance novels. A genre that was mostly written by women.

I ask. He laughs out. “I can assure and all my readers there’s no Mrs. Rodgers hiding anywhere.” I smile writing it down. “Have you ever thought of writing anything but Fantasy?” I ask. He smiles. “Funny you should ask. I started out as a romance author. Under a different pen name of course, but I was reading more and more fantasy manga’s and I fell in love with fantasy. As they say men are terrible at writing romance.” He jokes. I narrow my eyes at him. He might write fantasy, but his books always have a hint of romance to it.

"She is a content creator... an aspiring author, to be exact. That's the title of the book she plans on writing." I batted my eyelashes at him in disbelief... He came to help me out, and what's that excuse about being an author? But what choice do I have? I cleared my throat, then went with the flow. "Yeah, that's right; I'm an aspiring author. I want to write a romance novel..." I chortled in between stroking the back of my hair. Oh boy, that was close! Miss Ross's lips curled up as she slowly nodded. "Woah, that's great! I hope you're not planning to make a living with that..."

"You know nothing about me, Cairen. But I don't read romance. It's cliche.” I have never read a fiction book in my life. It's boring and gives me a headache. “Romance is not cliche. It shows true love and how the characters struggle in the name of love,” I remarked, biting my lips not to laugh. Zach wrinkled his nose like I was saying a nasty thing. "Why is it called fiction? It's not a real thing that happened. I would rather read about things that happened in real life than bullshit imagination," he grumpily said.

I needed to soothe and treat her so I could get some information about her brother once more. I faked a cough in the middle of her chugging an ice cream. "So, uhm. . . as I was asking earlier, do you also read fiction books?" Her face automatically lit up. "Of course, yes! I love fiction books, especially romance genre." I nodded. "Hmm, what about. . . uhm, Nicholas Sparks? You know that writer--" She suddenly stopped eating her ice cream as her eyes widened. "Oh my gosh! Yes! I love all of his books! I thanked God for him because he really makes good romance books."
