Whenever I read romance novels,I always thought about this scene and couldn't understand why the heroines always tried to get off the hero's lap but now I do. It's because it actually feels so embarrassing and it's just a feeling of my own shyness. However, just like heroes do, Xander kept me from getting up and clutched me tight against him.
