I have an interview for a proper career with healthcare and bonuses. Okay, Zoe, breathe, don’t get ahead of yourself. It’s an interview. You don’t have the job yet. I tossed Isaac’s laptop into my bag. I need to shower, brush my hair and find an interview outfit. Shit, I’m a waitress, my interview outfit consists of faded black jeans and a black t-shirt with a hole in the armpit. My feet hit the sidewalk running. There’s a charity shop on the route home. Before I could speak, Emerald Jason voice rang in air. She walked our way chirpily and we smiled seeing our childhood friends. We hugged each other and she raised an eyebrow my way. “Where had you been? We called million time!” She asked in high pitch. Before I could speak a word Selena spoke, “Babez our girl is in serious trouble. A guy out of blue came crashing our our girl world! Uncle Mason is indebted to him and he is demanding marriage. That is all I got to know. For knowing rest of the details I called her here to tell.”

The three days dotted before the battle was over. Tatiana was grateful to the man that crafted her into her best shape and made her harden her heart. I tried not to dwell on it as Maria came bustling in a moment later, announcing her plans for Spain and filling the quiet with her usual dramatic flair. “He didn’t drink his juice?” She asked when she saw Alex still full glass. “We’ve told you Maria, no one wants to drink the garden,” Jess groaned. “The sight of that juice is giving me contractions to my knee.” I actually laughed, “You’re being dramatic Jessica.” And then Maria, as if on cue, decided to drop her own kind of bombshell. “Anyways, I got accepted.” Jess and I stared at her. “Accepted?” I repeated.

As Teacher Maria was so busy preparing for the upcoming Teachers' Conference in Cebu, she received a message from an unknown number. She immediately opened her phone's inbox and got surprised with the message and to whom it came from. "Hi Teacher Maria, Can I invite you for a dinner tonight? It's me Echo, remember me?" the message came from Mr. Jericho del Fuego, the one she had a crush on. But then she was quite hesitant to reply to his invitation. Mr. del Fuego had a reputation as a playboy and a womanizer. Even if Maria had a crush on him, she felt awkward because of their status gap.
