His eyes fell back on me, helpless and a bit lost, just like me, "But he couldn't."
"A bit tragic, huh," I tried to turn it playfully but I still couldn't.
Roman sighed, "Yeah."
I stared at him, "Roman," I said and he gave me his attention again, "Yeah?"
"Tell me a story," I mumbled, "But with a happy ending."
His eyes gazed at mine for a full second, understanding me, maybe more than I understood myself, "I don't think I have any of those," He whispered, "Every story I know ended badly."
