GAME OF ALPHAS
With a loud chime, a green mark appeared.
The heavy diamond double doors carved with symbols of the pack’s history—wolves, moons, and ancient runes—parted slowly, revealing a dark chamber within.
I stared at everyone behind me as they nodded. I took a deep breath and took a step into the pitch-black chamber but immediately I was inside, the place engulfed in flames. One by one, millions of candles lit up with crimson fire, one the same color as my eyes, illuminating the room.
I took another step, following the lit candles as they continued down the large chamber. I stopped when the candle flames stopped before a large throne, ignoring the throne in a wave of crimson fire.
