After His Daughter's Death, He Went Crazy

After His Daughter's Death, He Went Crazy

That night, Liam served me my usual evening tea. I trusted him completely—he was my mate, after all, and a respected healer of Thornpack. I shouldn't have. When I woke up the next morning, my head was spinning. The special safe where I kept the morphing inhibitor—the one I'd spent my entire savings to import from Europe for our daughter Isla—was empty. Racing to the healing center, I found Liam celebrating. He was handing out moon-blessed wine, beaming with pride as Natalie's daughter Anna showed off her perfect transformation. My inhibitor had been used on his first love's pup instead of our own daughter. The shock triggered something in my brain. When I collapsed, they diagnosed me with the rare tumor that plagued our kind. Without inhibitors, I couldn't stop Isla's transformation that came early, her six year old body couldn't handle the massive wolf form and the force ripped through her young body. And I, for one, don't even have enough money to keep her in a treatment center. She died in my arms three days later, her little claws drawing blood as the pain overwhelmed her. Until her last breath, she kept asking why Papa hadn't come. Now, in my cold, empty home, with the white porcelain urn containing her ashes on the table, I touch her and decide to sever our partnership.

I’ve just contributed some gems as support. I usually don’t do it that easily but This book has been a good read! I sincerely thank the author for keeping it crisp while developing characters and story. Please keep this up! I am going to look at your other stories too if you have them published!

Both books that I'm reading are "to be continued. " unacceptable! If the book is not complete, it should not be published! I'm sure I can find a good paperback book to read without interruption. I don't have time to waste on 1/2 a book here and there. I'm not alone in feeling this way.

Princess of Taurus

Aqualis
Hey!, you there, Can I get some moment of your time, I have got a story to tell. Do you mind listening, it may sound like a folktale you know, but trust me, you might get a favorable snippet to use. Master once said during his lifetime: “Everyone is born with a special power that makes them looks unique and strong among others”, But how is that possible? That was the question I asked, and he explained further. “The movement of the Lord of Solar through the stars, gives every child a sign, depending on the moment they were born, which affect everyone's personality, this birth sign is called Zodiac sign”. My Orientation changed since then, that I am not a calamity to my parents, but mine is just dangerous to handle. I was born in the full moon light of Taurus, Every full moon light, I possessed, Darn it!, No one can handle this me in disguise, Just someone whom I was told is my mate, Alpha of Legion, But where on Earth he is?, I just have to move on with life and fate rotating it. Mom, Dad and friends are afraid of me hurting them So I spent my whole life living alone in my room. Not until I came across Master Frank in my dark shadow hunting, That take me to my new home, Magellan college, You might be wondering what I am capable of, I am a werewolf more powerful than others, because I am Princess of Taurus. I should have introduced myself early, my bad. I am Ella Martinez.

The man was drunk and a little sketchy which made her want to avoid him but for some reason, she couldn't. There was something that was pulling her back into her seat, probably the foreign sensation or new found affection from talking with a stranger. The two will then start dating until a woman named Feline comes into the picture. She was also in love with Samuel which ultimately led to their rivalry. Amelia was in the middle of getting her revenge with the same woman when she reported her to her family. An English Writer

An English Writer

San Lin Tun
The novel is mainly about the forgotten British poet/writer named C. J Richards who lived in Burma/Myanmar in colonial times and he believed himself as a Burmophile. He served as I.C.S (Indian Civil Servant) and when he retired from I.C.S service, he was a D.C (District Commissioner) and he left for England a year before Burma gained its independence in 1948. He came to Burma in 1920 to work in civil service after passing the hardest I.C.S examination. He wrote several books on Burma and contributed many monthly articles to Guardian Magazine published in Burma from 1953 to 1974 or 1975. Though he wrote several books which had much literary merit to both communities, Britain and Burma (Myanmar), people failed to recognize him. The story has two parts: one part is set in the contemporary Yangon (then called Rangoon) in 2016 context and a young literary enthusiast named “Lin” found out unexpectedly the forgotten writer’s poetry book and there is surely a good deal of time gap that led him into a quest to know more about the author’s life. The setting is quite different comparing to colonial Burma and independence Myanmar (Burma), early twentieth century and 2016 which is a transitional period in Myanmar. The writer’s life is fictionalized in the novel and most of the facts are taken from his personal stories and other reference books. It is a kind of historical novel with a twist and it has comparatively constructed the two different periods in Myanmar history to convince readers, locally and abroad more about history, authorship, humanity, colonialism, and transitional development in Myanmar today.

Wives at War

Wives at War

My best friend and I married the Luther brothers. I married the older brother, a legendary specialist in childbirth. My best friend, Autumn, married the younger brother, the CEO of a pharmaceutical company. On my birthday, my husband’s crush, Kirsty, scared me into early labor by sending me the carcass of a rotten, dead cat. Autumn rushed me to the emergency room. The doctors had their hands tied as I went into premature labor with a case of amniotic fluid embolism. With the last of my strength, I turned to my husband for help. Instead, I was berated. “So I missed your birthday. Do you have to make a big deal out of it? Why are you lying to me? Kirsty’s pet dog is having puppies. I need to help with the birth, so stop getting in the way!” Later, Autumn took charge and operated on me. I managed to pull through, while my baby was rushed to the ICU. Autumn tearfully called her husband, pleading for the specific medication produced by his company. “Kirsty’s dog is struggling in labor. I’m making a nutritious meal for it. You sure are good friends with Bella to take turns stirring up a fuss. Don’t you have anything better to do than act out in jealousy?” In the end, I lost my child. My heart shattered into pieces. “I want a divorce, Autumn.” “I’m with you! The cheating bastards don’t deserve wives.” We filed for divorce, and the brothers panicked.
