Xavier keeps his eyes shut as the drama progresses into the balcony scene. The girl playing Juliet stands at the top. Her eyes wander dreamily about her lover as he enters the garden. I stare fixedly at the stage, their acting pulling me into the drama I already know the ending of. Xavier lets out an exasperated breath and I turn to him. His eyes are open again and even though he pretends to be bored, I know that he is enjoying the show too. The actors are too good to not demand attention.

She tried to speak, but her throat felt sore.

Why was he here? "This is something we must do, since we cannot be together," He said, approaching me. He grabbed my waist, touching my hair. "Will you die with me, Juliet?" I blinked, instantly remembering my lines. "Yes Romeo, if we cannot be together, then we shall die together." Roy picked me up in his arms, and faced the crowd. The lights dimmed, signifying the end of the play. The crowd went wild and a smile crept on to my lips.
