RONAN: Exhaustion hit me like a truck after the endless run and the stealthy tail on Harlan. My muscles burned, my lungs raw from the cold air. I couldn't keep going without rest or food, or I'd be no use to Lyra when I found her. I shifted back to human form in a thick grove of trees, scavenging some wild berries and drinking from a stream to take the edge off. It wasn't much, but it steadied me enough to think. I crouched low, watching the road from the shadows. Not long after, a black SUV rumbled past Harlan's. I recognized the plates, the scent. A dark smirk pulled at my lips. Perfect timing.

It eats at me like acid. “You’ll never win,” I gasp. “Even if you kill me.” Kael’s mouth twitches, a flicker of emotion passing through his eyes. “You could have been everything. My heir. My vengeance but instead, you chose him.” Then Ronan moves. He doesn’t just lunge, he erupts. His bones crack mid-step, skin splitting as his wolf bursts free in violent, half-formed fury. The sound isn’t human... it’s ancient, monstrous, raw.

In fact, he’s watching me like a child might stare at a dog in a cage with genuine curiosity. I slide up the wall to standing. My legs are stiff, and every muscle in my body aches. “What do you want?” A smirk tugs up the corner of his mouth. “Hi. I’m Ronan. Beta Ronan. I’m Varek’s Beta, and his cousin, Ronan.” “I’m sorry–what was your name again?” I ask, rolling my eyes. My attempt at being a bitch only makes him laugh. “You’re funny. Fast, too. No one out runs the Alpha, but you got close last night.”

“I know you’d do something reckless to get back to her. I know recklessness gets you killed out here.” “Out where?” I throw my hands up. “You haven’t even told me where ‘here’ is. Or who the hell you are besides some Alpha psycho who thinks he owns the bar I work in.” He turns his head fully now. In the dim, his eyes are still bright. “Ronan Vale,” he says. “Alpha of the Crimson Hollow Pack.” “Congratulations,” I say. “You’re the CEO of a wilderness cult.” The front passenger coughs to cover a laugh. Ronan’s gaze doesn’t leave mine.

Ronan wavering for more than a minute was odd but finally, 'Here we go Axar. "I, Ronan Ver Solas, reject you, Zannicus Zer Zor-ester as my mate and Luna of this pack."

The man looked down at his feet, clearly growing nervous before he nodded behind him. Luna Ariana, the woman he knew that she did not want to see, stood behind her alongside her husband, Donatello’s father, Alpha Anthony. Both approached them and feeling her breath get caught in her throat, Luna Katerina glared at her brother before turning to face her mother. “Congratulations, Katerina” she said, speaking before Katerina could say a word. “For someone who chose to abandon her daughter and for someone who never bothered being by her daughter’s side through her pregnancy, I am surprised that you are here” Luna Katerina stated coldly.

someone else sneered with self-loathing. "There is only one answer to change all of this" a powerful warrior named Ronan said to his brethren. Ronan is a bulky and very powerful wolf. He has jet black hair which is longer and reaches his shoulders. His black eyes are sharp and his nose is slightly crooked. Just a single punch from him is enough for his opponent to fall. He is loyal to his pack and is yet to find his mate. When the warriors of the Blue moon pack heard his words, they looked at him expectantly.

"I don't think so. They look fun, but I'm seeing unfamiliar faces. " He nods and looks back to the group chatting as he calls their names to me. "That one is Gabriel and the one with the brow piercing is Jace. They're rarely with us, probably why you don't recognize them. " "Possibly. " I agree, taking a sip of my drink and he rubs my arm before he joins the conversation. They talk about movies and sports, and when I start to get bored, I look out the kitchen entrance to the living room and bitterness fills me at the first sight I see. A brunette has her hand flung over Alex's shoulder and the urge to peel them off is strong within me.

Cian has his magic to track me, and Noah is an Alpha with unknown abilities. Wiping the blood away, I get to my feet, walking back inside off the porch and into my room. My clothes are a mess everywhere, my life in an untidy shambles since everything has happened. I’ve been attempting to do my own research into these daemon creature I am supposedly related to, but nothing comes up. Not even in the local library, as if nothing on this exists. It makes me doubt how real this all is...what if this is some kind of screwed up dream.
