“So, tell me about yourself Mr. Davenport?” she asks. I don’t look up from my computer, as I log in. “What do you want to know, Miss Harvey?” I ask her. "Are you perhaps dating anyone right now?" she asks. I look up at her surprised by her question. I shake my head. "No..." it’s true I’m not dating anyone right now. Her smile brightens. “That’s good.” She tells me. I frown, “Why would that be good exactly?” I ask, I look back at the screen and see Kendell hasn’t arrived at the sight yet, I’m about to tell her when she speaks again. “So Mr. Davenport, do you find little old me attractive?” she asks me. I look at her… “What are you getting at Miss Harvey?” I ask her. “Come humor me…” she tilts her head. I sigh. “I’d be a fool not to find you attractive, though I don’t know how that’s of any pertinence to right now." I tell her. She smiles. “So what do you say Mr. Davenport, or can I call you Blake?” I ask her. I have no idea what she’s up to. I choose to ignore her. She moves closer to me. “Come on now, don’t ignore me.” she says. I look at her, a little dress that leaves little to the imagination. She’s leaning onto the desk giving me a full view of her breasts. Is she hitting on me? She is hitting on me right? “So how sturdy is this desk exactly?” she asks. I take her in, it’s been four years since I’ve so much as touched a woman sexually. Hell I can’t even tell if she’s flirting with me.

When the village chief delivered the items for my wedding, my fiancé's adopted sister, who was the apple of his eye, suddenly burst into tears. She cut my wedding dress and smashed the wardrobe that my older brother made for me. When we get married, you can be the bridesmaid, and you can still spend time with us after that." So, he brought me here just to help his sweetheart ruin her crush's wedding. But when Easton finally looks up at the wedding banner and realizes that I'm the bride, his eyes flare with rage.

He pushed me to the wall and quickly guided me with both hands so that I couldn't escape "You are going no where, you can't escape from me today. I must have you, your body and soul is mine!" I take a sharp inhale and the wave of power leaves them and they return to their previous positions. Another member of my court approaches, I nod allowing her to come forward. Her long green dress, compliments her light brown hair and golden eyes. "Mara, what say you?" Alarich takes her hand and guides her forward "My beautiful queen, only your blood can wake him, if you see it fit to subdue him after and place him back to rest. My men and I will happily comply" I smile at her and Alarich. "You think it's that easy. I will not be weak. You know this and he will see to it I am, specially if I carry his child". Alarich places a gentle kiss to Mara's forehead. Grateful for his loves presence and offer. "Majesty your mark moves, it longs for him" She looks up at me with hopeful eyes. "Oh Mara, I cannot allow him back into the world. I am strong enough to take a rebellion on by myself, no one can kill me with this mark and no one else can hold it, whilst I'm alive. "You ask me to wake the only one who can kill me?"

I ended a pregnancy before it reached three months—and he never even knew. He was too busy rekindling things with his ex, still tangled in old flames.
