"I couldn't stay away from my girl." We hugged, and this time it was me who held her tighter, harder than I meant to, as if I needed to confirm she was really there. "I thought I wouldn't see you." My voice came out muffled against her shoulder. "The king is crossing a line, keeping you locked up in here," Rose answered, not pulling away right away. "Even Romeo noticed." I squeezed her a little more before letting go, still reluctant. "Romeo brought me soup," I murmured, glancing sideways at the tray.

I watched Krisdana drive away, feeling a mix of emotions. As I turned to head back inside, Rosaline stepped out of the shadows. "Hey," Rosaline said softly. I turned to face her. "What's up?" I asked. Rosaline's eyes sparkled in the dim light. "You still have feelings for her, don't you?" Rosaline asked. I hesitated. Rosaline's gaze pierced through me. "Lucien, I don't hate Krisdana. But I don't like her either," Rosaline said.

His piercing gaze flicked toward me briefly, one brow raised in challenge. “I don’t intend to hurt anyone,” I said, my tone firm and resolute. “I’m just… forced to do things.” Damon’s jaw tightened as he absorbed my words, but his next sentence sliced through the air like a blade. “I’ve been watching a woman named Rosaline,” he said, his tone measured, calculated. “You know her. You were in the same orphanage.” The mention of Rosaline sent a jolt through me, but I kept my face impassive. “So, I’m shady because I know Rosaline?”

I reply, “I want you to meet my Donna, Juliet,” She looks at Juliet, who gives her a warm smile, “Hello, it’s nice to meet you, Rosaline.” Rosaline hugs Juliet and kisses both her cheeks, “Nice to meet you too Juliet, you a stunning woman, you choose wisely son.” “Rosaline here, is one of the top members of the mafia, she looks old but she can kick ass, she’s been with the family for years.” “Oh wow, maybe she can teach me a thing or two, especially about you.” Juliet smirks.

Juliet replied. Before Juliet could finish her response, Romeo stood up, gazed deeply into Juliet's eyes, and kissed her right cheek before embracing her. Instantly, Juliet's face turned as red as a newly bloomed rose. "What about Rosaline?" Juliet asked after being embraced by the tall and broad-shouldered teenager named Romeo. "I will leave her for you, Juliet. I never loved her. My family is forcing me to marry that woman someday," Romeo explained. In reality, Juliet was also being forced to marry by her family.

ROSALINE I was in the living room reading a novel when I heard the front door open and I saw Vincenzo walk in with Bianca behind him. "Hi," I waved at Vincenzo. He gave me a warm smile, "It's good to see you're in good condition, Rose." "Thank you," I smiled and yelped in surprise when Bianca engulfed me in a bone crushing hug. "Please endure her, she has had a lot of sugar today. I'll see you ladies later," he chuckled and walked into the hallway.

Making Rosaline infuriated. Rosaline looked down at her clothes which were now dripping, in anger. "What did you just do?" Rosaline asked, anger clearly visible on her face. Yvonne ignored her and gave out a triumphant smile. She was about to go upstairs when Rosaline pulled her back.

Zack is also frowning at me, his green eyes glaring at me as well. "Is that for me?" I tried changing the topic by looking at the roses that he was holding. "It was for you, but after I see that anonymous man, I guess it will be for him." His gaze softens, he is so kind to me, I don't even deserve him.

He trembled so violently, you could hear his teeth chattering. Red-eyed, he looked from person to person, and finally, back at my body. "No," he murmured. "No… it can't be. That can't be Wendy." He collapsed to his knees, the weight of it all knocking the air from his chest. Adeline Murphy stared down at him, expression cold, yet her eyes full of pain. "No," she said. "She's not Wendy. She's Rose." Mickey froze. The name hit like thunder splitting the sky.

Rosa said, trying not to match his tone, one of them had to be calm, and it looked like she had to be that person. “Look, I’m sorry I’m just… I’ve had a rough day.” He said this time meekly making Rosa smile in triumph. “It’s fine, I fully comprehend that. I’m Rosalina, Rosa for short.” She said, stretching her hands to him. “Hello, beautiful rose. I’m Damon.” He said, taking her hand in his, he brushed his lips against it. Rosa felt her insides melting at not just his voice, but the feel of his smooth, slightly calloused palm and the light tickle of his mustache against her skin.
