Rosa felt her insides melting at not just his voice, but the feel of his smooth, slightly calloused palm and the light tickle of his mustache against her skin.

ROSALINE I was in the living room reading a novel when I heard the front door open and I saw Vincenzo walk in with Bianca behind him. "Hi," I waved at Vincenzo. He gave me a warm smile, "It's good to see you're in good condition, Rose." "Thank you," I smiled and yelped in surprise when Bianca engulfed me in a bone crushing hug. Victoria asked, looking over Rosaline's shoulder at Laila, who was hiding behind the pillar at some distance while her body positioned in such a manner that clearly indicated that she was eavesdropping on their conversation.

He immediately turned stiff as soon as he heard me. I shifted my eyes back to Rosaline only to see her froze on her spot. Not only her but everyone turned statue except me, my angels and Elijah. Rosaline was looking at her plate while her face held an expression of distress. "Rosaline? Are you mad? She isn't going anywhere. It can be risky for her."
