Suddenly there is a big bang and the bus is lurking hard to the side, the next moment I am thrown to the floor being showered in glass from a broken window. I get to my feet, staggering slightly and calling out. “Is everyone okay ?” There are mumbles and confirmation coming from around me ... then Ryan’s annoyed voice. “What the hell happened ?” “Sorry Mr Davis”. I smile at him, he is a nice man and normally a very reliable driver.

“You’re stronger than your worst mistake.” I boarded a bus to a city called Bellshore. Quiet. Far. No connections. But as the bus rolled down the highway, I saw a car in the rearview mirror. Black. Same car that followed me in Dallas. I turned to the man beside me. He wore a dark hoodie and pretended to sleep. I leaned close. “Who sent you?” He didn’t open his eyes. “We all pay eventually, Rosa. Don’t delay yours.” I stood up in shock. “Driver! Let me off!”

one of the passengers said, maybe they noticed that instead of straight direction the driver drifted to the left where more trees and forest was in front. "This is not the way to the city! are you stupid!" the passenger was shouting again and now they were going to attack the driver. But when he was about to be held by one of the humans, the bus stopped again and all of the people shouted again, but not in anger but frightened. When the bus stopped a vampire got inside and killed all the humans inside of the bus, they were shouting for their lives but even if we tried hard we could finish all the vampires who attacked us.

Compared to her glamorous fur coat and high heels, I probably looked filthy and pathetic in her eyes. She let out a quiet laugh, her tone full of contempt. "Are you the only driver who has made it through the mountain's 72 winding turns unharmed? Do you have any idea that the 50 million dollars I'm offering is enough to buy 100 lives like yours?" I said nothing and smoked in silence. The driver's side door opened, and Elias stepped out. His gaze swept across me. His expression was calm, but he still carried the same air of superiority.

The heat struck me quickly too. We made our way outside and were met by different chauffeurs all standing in front of their cars holding a sign with someone's name written on it. I thought we were going to call a Uber or something but after Damon immediately directed himself to one of the chauffeurs, I saw that it had his name written on the sign he was holding.

One of them rose slowly and walked toward the front, asking the driver for a lighter. The driver frowned and snapped impatiently, "No smoking on the bus!" Before he could finish, a cold metal barrel pressed against his temple. The driver's initial anger froze into terror as he saw the gun. For a moment, he couldn't react—then a sharp scream tore from his throat. Suddenly, the bus screeched to an abrupt halt. At the same time, the man in the camo hoodie beside Ryan stood, revealing another gun pointed directly at everyone on the bus.
