Rohan The vampire clamped his hand around my throat, squeezing it. It was a male vampire with dark blonde hair which was highlighted by the flames. My eyes darted to the woman who was still buried under the debris. Her brown eyes were filled with fright as she watched the vampire clamp me to the ground. Some pieces of the roof fell into the fire and it roared. It was coming down soon. I had to do something about it before it was too late. “You’re going to die here, mutt,” he teased. “You and her.”

The voice died down immediately. "Uhmmm, was that actually a real vampire??" I scoffed as I dropped the phone back. That was likely a bot system that just spoke to me. I stood up from my sofa chair as I walked into the bathroom to go shower and prepare for my beautiful and most charming princess, Rosario. By tomorrow, vampires from the clan would be here, including Vlad. I couldn't let Vlad see Rosario at any cost unless that could cost a whole lot of trouble for me.

Casta says, and I move to sit down. “Rosa, we haven’t been formally introduced, so please let me introduce myself, as these brutes don’t have manners.” I chuckle at her as she offers me her hand and I take it, giving it a shake. “My name is Sunny. I am an elemental.” I look at her as she sits down. An elemental. Wow! Elementals can manipulate the elements and move like the wind. They are powerful beings; I thought they were extinct. “This is Bogo. He is a vampire. That is Henry. He is a wolf, and that fine fellow is Brody. He is an assassin. We, like you, are outcasts. We have been searching for you.” She says as I nod at each of the men.

I rushed out. "Rosy has been captured by Rue." Conner spits. The she wolf I had been kissing a while ago rushes past us in a hurry to get away from angered wolves. Conner and Sebastian enter inside the room when I back away with my hands clutching my hair. Rosy was a nine year old girl I had saved from vampires a few months ago. The little girl had looked up to me as a hero. Kind and timid that she was but could be sassy when she felt her father was endangered. She did not deserve to be in Rue's clutches. I only hope the wicked bitch has not killed her yet.

When Rosalie was sleeping, I had dressed her neck with garlic, knowing that the neck was a vampire's favourite spot for a draw of blood, and had covered up the strong scent of the garlic with flowery scents. So, when he wanted to bite, I let him, and he tasted the garlic, burning himself sweet. He vanished into the thin air with his cries lingering, and I pulled Rosalie to myself gently, pulling her to sit on my lap. "Are you okay?" I questioned her. She nodded slowly, and I knew she was holding herself from shivering. I hugged her, covering her up with my arms. The phoenix king and the rest jolted to their feet, "What did you do to him?"

Vicenta was relieved when the screams suddenly died down and was ready to go out and meet him. To her, Rosana had fainted because she couldn't take him. She didn't care if he punished her. "Whatever you need, Miss." I rattled off the address for Sol's mansion before he got into the car. Just as I was about to enter, my arm was snatched from behind me, and I was turned around. I came face to face with someone I did not expect to see. "Francis," I breathed out as I stared at the officer of the Vampire Hunter Organization. "Mia Rivera, so you remember me, that makes two of us." His words were harsh as he leered down at me. "I've been doing a lot of research on you lately, Miss Rivera, and your connection to Sol Montgomery."

Jason Tyler and a stranger met us once we parked in the circular driveway. "Hi, guys!" Tyler said happily while giving us all hugs. The man offered me his hand. "Hello, ma'am. Pleasure to meet you." Paul put his arm around me. "Kim, this is Tobias Santos. He's one of the first set of Werewolves to be turned. He helps with security and is head of recruitment." I looked at Paul in surprise that he had never mentioned this man, and then I accepted Tobias' hand. "Nice to meet you, Tobias."
