Rose Gate Novels & Stories

Elise replied. I stared at it for a long moment, thinking of the roses back at Silvermoon and the ones I’d planted here at Doomfang in my parents' memory. Now I actually had Silvermoon roses. I fought back the tears and reached through the mind line, 'Kael, Vivian, thank you so much.' 'You are more than welcome, sis,' Kael responded. 'Enjoy your night.' “Have Gavin help you move it closer to Freya's rose garden later,” Logan told Elise. “Somewhere it’ll actually get used once it’s needed, not just sitting out here in a field.”

I watched in confusion as Alec pulled a black rose from his back pocket and held it up. What are they going to do with a rose? I don't understand. “This Rose is symbolic of what we are. We grow, and we stay strong. We are black in hearts and black in minds. We do what we have to do for our family. It's a rite of passage and has been for generations. You will accept this rose from your new masters.” Zane says, as he brings my pointer finger down hard on a thorn before making my blood drip on top of the rose.

Aaron grumbled again, once again looking bitter in a way that Rose couldn't understand "Being good with words doesn't mean anything…" "Hey! I want to show you my ring!” Grace said suddenly, bouncing in place excitedly before pulling out the bag she had thrown it nearby and start reaching aloft inside it “I so wish I could have shown it to you earlier! It's so beautiful...” in ecstasy, she finally pulled a small velvet box from inside her purse and opened it before Rose's eyes, revealing a rose gold ring engraved with thick metal alloy in the shape of flowers, which followed a path of small sparkling dots until it reached five huge diamonds that were positioned to look like an even larger flo

The glass assassin—now wearing Echo’s face—smiled from the screen. "You’re beginning to understand," she whispered. "The roses aren’t weapons. They’re seeds." The feed cut to a live satellite image—twenty-seven locations across the globe, each marked by a blooming black rose. New York. Moscow. Beijing. Rykov’s old facilities. Lina’s voice crackled through their earpieces: "Oh, you’ve gotta be kidding me—" The glass assassin finished her sentence: "Welcome to the garden, little stars." The roses did three things:

After the period of darkness, we emerged at a tunnel-like exit; the exit was surrounded by few rocks & light broken-off concrete, three blue roses and one black rose. "Hey, I thought you said these were extremely rare," I said while pointing at the blue roses. "They are. Why is that the first thing you ask about?" Valkon responded. "What do you mean? It’s a valid question. I’ve also never seen a black rose before," I argued. “It sprouted from all of the dark magic surrounding this place. Black roses are a symbol of dark magic or ritualistic practices; it’s not surprising to see it growing here,” he explained.

The smell of smoke never left her. Even after five years, Inés still woke up coughing some nights, the phantom scent of ash curling through her dreams like a ghost refusing to rest. “Name?” the guard at the Delgado estate gate asked, his voice flat but suspicious. Inés gripped the strap of her cheap bag tighter. “Inés Montoya. I’m here for the maid position.” The man’s eyes raked over her; young, pretty, average enough not to draw attention, which was the point. He muttered something into his walkie-talkie, then motioned for her to go inside.

A looked crossed his eyes, but it went away as quickly as it came, and soon he was looking at me amused again. "Of course, I didn't anticipate finding raunchy books in a sweet girl's bag, you're definitely right. Noted, I'm never doing that again." I scowled and he smirked. "So Rosie?" He asked, I couldn't help it, I rolled my eyes at that, rubbing at my temples. "No, my name's Rosette, not Rosie. That's childish." "Okay, so Rose. Well that's a pretty name for a very pretty girl, as cliché as it sounds, it's the truth, you're a pretty little flower." And the blush that was barely receding was back again.

“You look worried, baby. Something on your mind?” She calmed herself down first before nodding her head, trying to force a smile. “Yeah, of course. I just took the offer.” “That’s great! Wonder why you took a while before you took it. Companies won’t wait for you that long for an answer. Guess you’re really special then. You are.” he kissed her cheek before tightening the hug. “You’re my special baby.” Rojean was fighting the smile that was coming. “It’s a good opportunity. I can save up more money for our wedding. He offers a car.”

If it wasn’t for Avery dragging her along. Kira wouldn’t have had a clue about this gigantic rose garden hidden in the Southern Suburb of Hemsworth. That was Avery’s little secret, not part of the Chambers Group. He had fields, as big as hundreds of acres, all filled with Damask roses. Under the sunset, the garden was a sight for sore eyes. The bright pink roses against the green leaves were stunning to look at and would definitely lift anyone’s mood. Kira was hooked, she couldn’t take her eyes off them.

He wondered. Some moments later, the large gate opened for them to go in. A long tiled road came into view. It was such a beautiful setting. At each side of the road, beautiful flowers and tress were planted. They were still in Saint Hok but Dante felt like he entered another world entirely. They passed through a vineyard and an orchard. The apples on the apple fruits looked too good to eat.
