Rose Violet Novels & Stories

This one was ten times more intricate, making it a little harder for me to escape. Rolling his sleeves up, his forearms revealed ink that I had never seen before. While almost every inch of his arms had been covered with markings -on one arm, my eyes focused on a single rose with a serpent wrapped around it. Switching my gaze to his other arm, there was a dagger that pierced through the exact flower. Right below it, were the words: Like madness is the glory of this life. The quick movements of his hands had me mesmerized as he so gracefully looped the material up my arms.

I asked him, laughing once he put on the ensemble. "Of course! I've a special guest over," the man was entirely serious. I laughed again as I saw him brush up the sleeves of his dress shirt. My laughter stopped as I noticed something on his forehead. I moved closer to him before reaching my head out, pausing him. "Rose?" "You have a…..bird tattoo," I said, somewhat confused. I wasn't sure about the bird species, but it was stunning. Its wind spread as if about to take flight as the tail tucked in low. I inspected it closer and it looked like a-

said Rose. “I know! Why is this wedding that was fixed on a whim so grand?” asked Seth. “I… I don’t know!” replied Rose, stunned. Red was her favourite colour. Her father had made sure that she always had rose plants in the garden. They both loved tending to roses together. When Lucas fell ill, Ursa and Vanessa made sure they uprooted every rose plant. Vanessa hated roses because they made her jealous. Rose was the Woolridge princess, and she was not. So, why was the whole hall decorated with every variety of rose there was?

The specific warm ochre she had been drawn to since she was twenty-two and had bought a secondhand blouse in that color from a market in Barcelona and had worn it until it had worn through at the cuffs and had thrown it away and had mourned it in the small specific way you mourned the loss of something that had been, without your planning for it, the right thing. Rust-red. Not burgundy — the Victoria colors had included a deep burgundy that was almost red, that was red's controlled and composed cousin. This was rust-red, the actual color, the color of something that had been out in the weather, that had warmth without precision, that was the color she bought when she bought for herself and n

“I believe we need a darker colour. Ruby Red seems flashy. Don't you think?” I opened my mouth to tell him exactly why I chose the colour, but Dashiell beat me to it. “Not if we balance it correctly. We can use Ruby red for accents, like table runners, flower arrangements, or even a signature cocktail. That way, it enhances the overall aesthetic without overwhelming it. We can make it work if we approach it maturely, like Nova pointed out."

VANESSA I opened the plate, rice with Banga sauce stared back at me. Today was egg and diary product day. I had a food schedule that I followed to the letter. On Monday, I had pushed the food away from me and stood up quickly. That turned out to be a mistake, because I felt so dizzy that I nearly plummeted foreword. I clutched the wooden chair for support, my legs felt numb.

It just feels meaningless. "No." I protested as I removed her hand from my chest and took a step back. "Violet is a natural color while purple is an unnatural pigment. Her eyes are natural." Were. "Forget it, Zo. I am done talking about her." She exhales a deep breath in annoyance and tries to take one more step towards me but I immediately took two back.

"Yeah, I've met your cousin. Her hair is brownish red, isn't it? She's very beautiful even though she doesn't look like you two at all." Kay cleared his throat, annoyed. "Rupert, what did you want to say earlier?" Rupert remembered what he forgot. "Oh, yes. Doesn't this look like Scarlet fever?" he turned to Florence. "Aren't the symptoms the same?" "At first glance, it does look similar. But if the symptoms are not found in other patients, it's probably just an allergy." "Actually, I found two people with the same symptoms in my ward." Rupert said in low voice.

The irony hit hard. As we drove further in, we stopped in front of the second villa. I stepped out and gaped—it was the most beautiful one of all. Painted soft white and pastel pink, with tall glass windows gleaming under the afternoon sun. Inside, the living room took my breath away. Gold and blush accents framed the walls, and the air smelled faintly of vanilla—my favorite scent. What a coincidence, I thought. A woman, probably In her early fifties, appeared from what looked like the kitchen. She smiled gently and spoke quietly with the assistant. I barely listened, too overwhelmed to focus on their conversation.

I shrugged with a small on my face. “I don't think it's just about the colour. I believe there's more to find out about your wolf. We just need to wait,” Rowena told me. Riona was indeed special, given her colour, but I wasn't aware of what I should be expecting from her. “I almost forgot,” Rowena said, handing me a bottle of what seemed to me like strawberry juice. “This is strawberry juice, but it also contains drops of the Juliet Rose extraction,” she explained to me. Juliet Rose. The plant that provided each werewolf with extra strength and faster healing abilities.
