Rosalynn’s POV. Early in the morning, I stood alone in the middle of a cemetery in San Francisco. Clutching a bouquet of white chrysanthemums, I bowed my head and gazed at the image of the man with a radiant smile etched on the tombstone. My heart tightened, and I felt my eyes burn with unshed tears. Carved into the stone were the words “Liam Carpenter,” aged 25.

A plate of pancakes rested on the island Liam’s favorite kind. Her back was turned, but the moment she heard my footsteps, she whirled around with a smile too bright to be real.

Lucifer- I searched everywhere for Rosemary. She was gone upon my return to the meeting. Not one slight clue as to where she had gone or where she was going. I returned to earth and searched her apartment looking for some kind of message. I was furious by now thinking the Vatican had captured her while they distracted me in the meeting. I would get my answers. I returned to my chambers to grab a few items when I heard the sound of a tiny heart beating fast, followed by a small whisper of a child saying father... I knew.... I fell to my knees in shock. Rosemary is pregnant with my child.

"Rosemary, how far back can you remember your childhood?" Rosemary opened her mouth to answer, then stopped. Her expression changed from certainty to confusion. "I... I remember being eight years old. Playing in the pack house. But before that..." She frowned, concentrating. "It's fuzzy. Like trying to remember a dream." "What about your parents?" Elder Drake pressed. "Tell us about them." "My mother was Sarah. She was a nurse at the pack hospital. My father was Thomas, he worked in pack security." Rosemary spoke with confidence, but Austin could feel her growing uncertainty through their bond.

“Yeah.” “You scared me…” she said with fear in her eyes. “Armando give you something bad to eat too?” I laughed. “I am not a kid, Rose. And Armando is a good friend.” She opened her palm again. “Give me your phone. I need to speak to him.” I handed it over. “Hello, this is Rosemary, Gerald’s wife,” Rosemary said seriously on the phone a minute later. I strained to hear Elvis’s voice. But I sure as hell knew he was shaking in his boots now.

I noticed that Rosemary was greatly touched by what she heard,but still, I knew that it was never enough at that moment because I needed results and most importantly results to ensure that at the end of the day, I was successful in doing what I actually planned out to do. "Am sorry I can't help," Rosemary said and shed tears afterwards and I left immediately. I knew that if she wasn't going to come in any way, we have to continue like that because Lincoln's sin can't go unpunished, especially mostly when it's the sin that involves what he had done...

That night, Marcus jumped from the old Leedon Tower. The next morning, the headlines were filled with news of his suicide. Cecilia didn’t dare look at the gruesome photos.
