Roses Are Violets Are Blue Novels & Stories

“Favorite flower?” “Iris. Especially the blue one. I think it makes everything look less harsh. Pair it with a nice white rose and you have the best bouquet.” I said and took another bite. The flavors mingled together and I moaned in my throat. Priamos smiled at the sound but his eyes had darkened. I understood that look. Felt much the same when I looked at him. Damn this mating bond.

The little brother next to him flattered. Prince Long grunted and took out a large bunch of roses from the backseat, red, orange, red, green, blue and purple in every color. Gathering so many different colors of roses was obviously costly, but together they were indescribably vulgar, as if they were a bunch of dyed plastic products.

Now she felt as if this Violet color was slowly settling in her eyes and soothing her heart. "This?" Elsa asked, but she did not take her eyes off the flowers for once. "This flower is called Viola, and you won't find these flowers everywhere. That time your crying stopped immediately after seeing these flowers. Believe me, Elsa, you held these flowers until you slept, and look! You're still lost on them." Rose said and laughed. Elsa saw how everyone was smiling at her, which embarrassed her. "I. I… l loved it, aunt Rose," Elsa thanked her aunt.

It was utterly transformed. The floor was covered in flowers, and I don’t just mean a few scattered petals. It was an ocean of blooms—roses, daisies, and violets, their soft, velvety colors blending into one another in a way that felt almost too perfect to be real. Balloons were everywhere, too, floating lazily or tied into bouquets with gleaming ribbons that caught the light whenever they swayed.

Today the white tulips also mean majesty, elegance or marriage, the orange means union, friendship or favorable connection between two people, they also say that the orange tulip means forbidden and clandestine love, and the blue ones mean chivalry, loyalty, trust and virtue. We continued to see the flowers and Cristian kept explaining to me about the meaning of each one, the truth was I was impressed that he had that kind of knowledge about flowers, we got to where the roses were, I was fascinated to see so many roses together and of different colors -Wao -I say impressed- how beautiful, can you tell me the meaning of the roses? At that moment Cristian's cell phone rang and he had to answer

I wonder, would their smiles still be the same knowing what I had done to one of them behind that curtain? I pass by the shelves full of clothes, separated by size. It was mostly neutral colors of blue, white, and gray. Almost immediately a blue blouse caught my attention. It was similar to the blue shirt dress we wore back at the academe. Maybe the old woman was right, maybe the Sisters of Selene were really just the cheap versions of Royal Consorts.

“No I don't.” “Sucks to be you then.” I smiled at him. “Alana..” “Fine. Let's do it this way. Which colour do you want?” “White and blue.” “That's crazy. White and blue?” What the hell? “And what's wrong with them?” “Choose one with my pink.” “Blue.” “Fine then, but pick one flower. Which one should I go with?” “What?” He seemed to not be seeing them clearly as I held them up, and it pissed me off. I rolled my eyes.

He softly spoke. Geezzz!!!! I just nodded and flashed him a smile. “I never knew you loved pink roses?” He asked. He mentioned pink roses and I remembered the roses that Sylvester brought. Killian must have seen them!! “Ummm yeah I do, they have such a soft vibe to them!” “I love blue roses, they are delicate!”. Okay I never thought Killian was the type of guy to love flowers or even love some colour. “You love blue and you love flowers?” I was very surprised.

Violet “Something has changed between you two.” Bree said as soon as Cole disappeared into the kitchen. I finished chewing the last of my food before I finally looked up at her. She stared at me with a knowing look that made me squirm in my seat. “You are more comfortable and in tune with him, and don’t think that I didn’t notice the little chat you had there about the color pink and blue.” ‘We are just—’ “Don’t even think about lying to me, Vi. I’m your biggest champion and I deserve better.” The way she said it made me acknowledge the fact that I had followed her advice only to have that connection with Cole.

“Is the little bird wearing a baby blue scrunchie today?” “I have no idea. She fluttered off so quickly. Come on. Don’t leave me hanging.” Vren look down the flowers and was doing the puppy eyes. Audrey took it. “Fine. Just so you know, I’m sick of this flowers.” “It will grow on you. And flowers are not just called flowers. There are roses, then there’s sun flowers, daisies, peonies–” “Do I look like I care?” She snapped. Vren stopped rambling about the breeds of flowers. “No, you don’t.” He smiled. “Shall we?”
