"If I have to kill the world to keep you breathing, then the world is already dead." She walked to the window, looking out at the Sicilian sun. She was the Black Rose, but she was no longer in a garden. She was in a hall of mirrors, and it was time to start breaking glass.

What was meant to be a gesture of affection had now become a symbol of her unease and growing anxiety. The roses that once symbolized love and beauty were now a source of dread for her. She began to have troubling dreams where the red roses seemed to multiply, surrounding her and engulfing her in a sea of crimson. These nightmares left her restless, and she often awoke in the middle of the night, drenched in cold sweat.

Instead, her hands stayed on her face, caressing and nibbing. ‘How did she get to this? She remembered insulting the man in white at the burial ceremony of her best friend. His beauty hypnotized her at first. His prominent cheekbones and chiseled jaw had trapped her eyes in them. His silver glistening eyes devoured her own eyes, making it hard to look away.’

As I put one of my feet inside of the warm and welcoming water filled with the petals of the beloved and most beautiful rose. I sometimes wonder why it has so much love being given to it. It is so imperfect, yet that is its perfection just like all of us--We are perfect and one because of the imperfections of us. I also wonder why a rose just steals my heart every time I look at it--it's just so magnificent. Is it because of the color that it possesses or because of the way it possesses the frail heart of mine? So melted in my thoughts that I was, I didn't realize that I had to get out of the bath to get ready.

“Rose-“ But before I could even finish my word, I felt a hand wrap around my waist and then I was being lifted up and off of the floor and the world went black. **** “You can open your eyes now.” The first thing I noticed as Damien lowered me to the ground was the intense smell of black roses. Since they were different from normal roses, they had a distinct smell which was richer and stronger than any other rose in the world. It was also the only rose that stayed in bloom for an entirety of two months. As I had expected, when I opened my eyes, I was no longer standing in the Shelter, in the middle of the ocean, but in the inner gardens of Damien’s castle, the place where we first met.

She had such a good heart. Then she said conversationally, “You know there’s no such thing as black with blue-tipped roses, right?” My mouth sagged open, before I blinked and shook my head, unable to believe what I’d just heard. “Say what again?” “Roses only come in shades of white, red, yellow and purples or variations and mixes between those. Anything else is artificially created.” Still slowly shaking my head back and forth in adamant denial, I said, “No…no, that can’t be right.”

Moreover who listens to best friend until and unless some problem arises. Putting a full stop to my thinking, I went inside the washroom, washed up and did my morning routine.... I didn't put any makeup for obvious reasons, as i have surgeries to do and just went with a light cream and a lipstick of light pink shade.... It's actually one of my favourites... Although pink is not the colour I prefer as I am not a pink person... Well, I am black person... Let's leave as soon as possible otherwise I would be late... I went out not before locking my house and tried to look for a cab or rickshaw...

Adeel said and Azisha got startled by his presence "When did you come? You had time to come." Azisha said "I just came now. Happy birthday Azisha," Adeel said and handed her the Rose bouquet Azisha smiled looking at the Rose bouquet. She is allergic to Roses and Adeel does not even know that. "I can not take them. Sorry I am allergic to them." Azisha said still smiling Adeel took that bouquet and placed it away. "it is ok, you do not have to say sorry. I am sorry I did not knew that you are allergic to them." Adeel apologised to her

He looks at me with sweetest smile and comes towards me. "Happy Birthday to my lovely and beautiful wife." Rudra says as he gives me the rose and kiss on my lips. I look down shyly and say, "Thank you." "It has been one year but one thing is still the same. I get the blush I was waiting for you. I just wish everything remains just as it is right now. And may you blush like this every year on your birthdays with me." Rudra says as he takes me in his arms. "Aren't you getting too much romantic nowadays?" I ask as I bite my lip and caress the rose.

“Sorry, I’m a bit out of it.” She shrugged, and opening the small door in the gate. She had no umbrella with her, I’m guessing she go out in a hurry. Who wouldn’t when their cousin was standing in front of her own home gate, and staring at her house like a psycho? “Don’t apologize. Let’s get you inside before you catch a cold.” I nod, following her through the door. The walkway is just like I remember, on each side are prize winning roses. Of different colors. Huh? When do black roses exist? I took a small detour from following Alexis, bending over a patch of those strange black roses.
