Escliffe to compliment Rogue-x actions, snapped his fingers and stopped the flow of time, freezing Rogue in a time stop.

Phoenix said tiredly. The Ray guy stretched his hand out for a shake which I accepted, " nice to meet you, Luna" he smiled showing off his pearly white teeth. I smiled back, " it's just Clover" I said. Phoenix suddenly growled loudly, making me jump in fear. Ray released my hand and backed up, " sorry" he apologized and showed his neck in submission. Phoenix's eyes glazed over and so did Ray's, I guess they were mind linking. I turned my confused gaze to Tobias, but found him glaring at Ray. Okay, what the fuck am I missing here?

I tell her. I hear her make a sound that sounds like a snort. I reach and steal a piece of bacon that has been cooked. I let go of her and grab a glass and pour some juice into it. She scoots a bottle of aspirin towards me. I grab it and pour our two into my hand. I throw them into the back of my throat and take a large gulp of juice. I plop down onto one of the benches at a table and lay my head on my arms. I hear something set down on the table. “I guess you would rather sleep than eat all this food.” She says.

She looks up and her eyes narrow at me when she notices me. “Xavier,” I greet him, noticing the very small space between them, “How’s the training going?” I quickly ask before they catch me staring. Cassandra’s face morphs from a frown to a too bright smile, “Great, I am being taught not to hesitate when I want to murder anyone,” she replies sarcastically. A raise a brow at her attitude, she needs to get out of her own head if she wants to survive as a rogue. Xavier shrugs when I turn to him with a questioning look but when he turns to Cassandra a small smile crawls on his face. What is that about?

"Sorry, I forgot to ask your name beforehand. Surely, your name is beautiful. Ilaria. Too, unique." I softly smiled. Before Dionna could ask more questions, the door opened with a thud making the atmosphere more suffocating and dark than ever. "Alpha Xan-" "Leave." Her eyes flickered between me and him with uncertainty, but nevertheless she bowed and left the room hastily. My hazy gaze shifted on his icy face, following his each and every calculating step. "Rouge has a name---Ilaria? Shouldn't you be nameless? Or you couldn't stand the ugly names throwed at you?"

Valerie: Steam curled from the marble tub, fogging the mirrors and softening the edges of the room. The scent of sandalwood drifted through the air, one of his, not mine. At this point I didn't even have it in me to try and choose the scent. I sat inside the tub, watching as Xavier poured in more soap to the hot water. His sleeves were rolled up, the veins in his forearms catching the light. For once, there was no command in his movements, no arrogance. Just silence. He ran his finger over my cheek, right where there was a scratch. The Rogues have left their mark. But then again, of course they did.

None dead. "You let them corner you," Cade said. He was already scanning the garage entrances. "I needed to see who was sending them," I said. "And?" "Rogue. No court affiliation. Hired." "By who." "Still working on that." I looked at my hands. The shaking had stopped. My vampire side was pulling back from the red edge, which took more effort than it should have. "What's the sonic frequency." "Designed to disrupt vampire motor control. Non-lethal at this range." He holstered both weapons with the practiced ease of someone putting away car keys. "You had two down before I got here."
