Roxanne Wolf Novels & Stories

I went down a steep hill and a small river came into view. I walked along it for a while until I found a rock that jutted out over the water, I sat down and looked down into it, my reflection baring staring back at me with the light of the full moon that filtered down through the trees. Could I be the Celestine Wolf? Why not Austin, he’s the first born after all, aren’t they supposed to be the special ones. My wolf, Amara, didn’t say much; I felt like other people’s wolves spoke to them more.

I was Luna of Northwind Pack, mated to Alpha Kael Dorian, the man I'd been crushing on since I was fourteen. Let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Lara Voss, and I'm an omega, the absolute lowest rank in any wolf pack. Not only that, but I don't have a wolf, never shifted once in my life, and I go completely deaf for the first five days of every month.

Every texture was shocking. “You are struggling,” Sera said. It was not a question. “Yes. Being human again is harder than we expected. Harder than fighting the Voids. Harder than becoming the seal.” I pushed the food away. “We do not know how to do this. Do not know how to be separate. How to be small. How to be limited.” “Then we find you help. Someone who understands.” She thought for a moment. “There is a wolf. Very old. She lived before the curse. Before the First Ones created the bloodlines. She might know something about merging and separation. About consciousness and transformation.”

He reached out to rub her fur, and then Freya stood up. Gael’s smile was even wider when she stood next to him. She was big, so big, Gael rubbed her and there were sparks everywhere he touched. Phoenix was an all-silver wolf. She stood as tall, if not taller than some Alpha wolves. She was muscular and fit. A beauty to behold. “Hold on baby, Ronan is driving me crazy.” He said as he put his face against Freya, who purred in contentment. He shifted in no time, and Ronan, who was always bigger than any other wolf, was just only a little taller than Freya.

But it didn’t matter. The damage was already done. And that was when the air changed. Cold. Sharp. Different. A slow clap echoed from the shadows. “Well, this is disappointing.” Aria’s head snapped up. A figure stepped forward. Not Shadowfang. Not familiar. But powerful. Dangerous. Ronan. His eyes gleamed with interest as he took in the scene, the fallen wolves, the cracked earth, and Aria standing at the center of it all. “So this is the hybrid everyone’s afraid of,” he said.

I turned slightly and saw the brown and grey wolves approaching. “Dionne,” Ronan said, nodding to the brown one. “That’s the female. Calm but bloody. Don’t let that serenity fool you.” Then his eyes drifted to the grey wolf. “And Dixon—the silent killer.” He straightened up and turned toward me, taking my hand again. “They’re my pets,” he said simply. Like he was talking about puppies or goldfish, not bloodthirsty, supernatural beasts that nearly made me pee myself.

Storm nodded that I was correct. It would definitely take time to get used to being called Luna. “Is what true?” One of my brows raised in question. “Your wolf. Is she a Phoenix wolf?” another woman asked me. Storm pushed forward, gold shimmers brightly displaying her presence. She slowly let out her aura that she had been keeping reined in. This way, they could see and feel it. Her aura alone was quite impressive. The stronger the wolf, the stronger the aura was. And, well, she was a damn strong wolf.

When Reeina, standing next to me, turns around with a smile, I already wonder what it is before I can turn around myself. The Wolf King comes out of the house behind us. He looks paler than usual, and it takes me a while to remember why, after all he shows a haughty and proud expression as he walks to where we are. He wears a type of charcoal-colored armor beneath a red cloak that sweeps the ground with each step. Her long black hair has been braided back, adorned with metal and golden ribbons, and on her forehead she has a type of thin stone ring with an inscription on her tongue.

Sophie laughed. "You really entertained us this morning Daya. I couldn't stop laughing and to think you called her an evil spirit who was here to take over your mate got me rolling" Mira laughed. "Really? I got my wolf?" I asked excitedly. "Yes so you can stop being dump. My name is Snow, and you can call me the beautiful one" The voice said. Rather my wolf said.

- I, as the alpha of the pack, on a mental level can call any wolf or she-wolf of my pack. - What about me? - No, Leah, neither I can hear your wolf, - he climbed a couple of steps, so that now our faces are on the same level, - and she does not hear my wolf. Thanks to this one,” he stretched his hand to my neck and, picking up the cord, pulled out my cross-artifact, “an amusing little thing. Maxim grabbed the cross and clenched it in his fist, at that moment I was as if scorched by heat, a ringing sounded in my head, as if a bell had been struck nearby.
