She scrunched her eyes closed, making a scared gurgling sound in her throat as he pressed in again, rubbing his nose up the back of her neck as he inhaled then licked his tongue out and glided it right over the crook of her neck and over her marking spot. He let out a deep rumble of satisfaction in her ear. "Fuck, your fear smells delicious, it makes my teeth ache...I want to just sink them into your flesh and make you mine." "Drexel!" Jax yelled out, tensing up. He growled and snarled in response, lifting his head to glare at Jax and Aria saw out of the corner of her eye large teeth dripping with saliva. She realised Dominic had lost control of his wolf and he was morphing through.

Darius’s face remained unreadable, but Fen was not quiet. The Alpha’s wolf rose behind Darius’s eyes, not with warmth or recognition, but with a low, vibrating warning growl that resonated through the floorboards. Cassia flinched violently. Her silver eyes flashed with a terror that did not belong to her. It was Sera’s terror, raw and exposed. Fen stared at the stolen wolf trapped inside Cassia’s body and refused to bow. The whole pack waited for the Alpha’s wolf to greet their future Luna.

The witches sacrificed these rogues to distract us. I tear one off my shoulder and sink my teeth into its throat. Blood fills my mouth. The thing doesn’t even scream, just dies with wide, unblinking eyes. Another one charges, and I rake it down with my claws, my wolf in full control now. I don’t have time to savor the kill. I’m fighting like hell to get to her. “Roxy!” I try through the mind-link. Nothing. I whip around and see Roxy, just for a heartbeat. She’s limp, draped across a horse like a broken doll. And she’s with her–-the witch.

Chapter 2 A Claim Aria's POV One was pure black, like a piece of the night had come alive. His eyes glowed like golden fire. One was a shimmering silver, his fur looking like shiny something in the moonlight. The last one was a dark, midnight blue, almost black, but with a strange, beautiful sheen. They surrounded me. The black wolf, the biggest one, took a step forward. He lowered his head, sniffing the air. A low, rumbling growl vibrated in his chest. It was a sound of pure power and danger.

He hung up the call and I pulled my knees to my body, sitting against a rock, trying to keep warm and awake as the drizzle intensified and turned to rain, rustling the leaves above me. I must have drifted into sleep because the next thing I knew a cold wolf's nose was poking my cheek. I gasped in shock, practically falling over, and then remembered that it was probably Tyce. He was a huge wolf—bigger than my dad in his wolf form. I couldn't make out what color his fur was except that it was dark, reminding me of a grizzly bear. His amber eyes were more vibrant than usual, glowing, staring into mine. I assumed it must have been his night vision that made them appear that way.

She could easily guess he was an omega in his pack. He roared with bloodshot eyes as she laughed at him. Jackson had run Into a corner as the wolf in front of him was bigger and looked stronger than his. Their colleague was frightened to death and was about to dial the police through the phone on the counter. Lucia gave Jackson a sign and he immediately hit a large frying pan on the girl's head. She fell to the floor. The wolf roared again while he gathered his strength. Without warning, he launched at Lucia, biting hard on her shoulder.

Eva asked him shining her newly colored blue eyes at him. Luca smiled and said "You see, a Wolf will not protect what he has until he's challenged by another Wolf who wants to take it" "Huh?" Eva said and Luca stood up and patted her head and said "Soon you'll understand Eva" ~~~~

Having gathered her thoughts, Anika decided that it was time to take action and interrogate him to find out what was happening. - So, now tell me, what or who are you? - the girl demanded, holding the mop at the ready like a spear. - Why did you become attached to me? And why the hell do you become a human in my house, but a dog outside the door? The guy glanced sideways at her, chewing and swallowing his food. Anika, feeling his gaze on her, clutched the mop tighter. “Well, first of all, I’m not a dog, but a wolf,” the guy beamed with a smile, “if you’re so bad at understanding.”

It was so frightening and with all the blood on my body, it was hard to argue that it wasn’t real I clawed at the clothes of my body, desperate to have them off. When I was naked, I turned, unable to resist the call of the moon any longer. I needed this. My wolf needed this and there was nothing I could do to stop it. I stalked out of my room in wolf form. The hallway was dark but my wolf eyes adjusted immediately. I started forward, stopping at the growl behind me. I turned and clamped my hands over my lips to cover my scream. Standing behind me, was my wolf form with the same red eyes. The one from my dream. To my horror, it was stomping over to me!
