Ruby Lane Fear Street Novels & Stories

“Like… a storm inside me. I got mad. And then the air moved. Like the wind pushed him.” Caitlyn squeezed his fingers gently. “We’ll figure this out, okay?” Kane nodded, but I could see the fear in his eyes. I turned to Caitlyn, lowering my voice. “He’s changing.” She nodded. “So am I.” And for the first time in my life, I felt something I rarely allowed myself to feel. Pure, unrelenting fear. That night, another ghost from our past returned. Linda. She stood at our doorstep, soaked from the rain, her clothes clinging to her thin frame. Shadows lined her eyes, exhaustion weighing heavy on her face. Her hands trembled slightly as she met my gaze.

Evelyn asked. Having heard this, Serena felt like she'd just had an epiphany. Indeed, there was nothing wrong with being scared of blood. Lauren was terrified of earthworms and would shriek if she saw one. She'd even take a different route just to avoid the worm. Serena had only one question left. "I'm also scared of… a person. How can I get over that fear?" "Who is it?" Evelyn asked patiently.

Liliana was having goosebumps like Kaylee was telling the truth. “Am I supposed to be scared of her return?” Hope whispers because Kaylee’s word was doing a number on her immediately

Lauren walked on the edge of the road—there were no sidewalks in her development—thinking about what she’d seen in the throes of her migraine two days before, and about the floating book, and also about David and his sudden predictions. Her abdomen felt puffy and twisted at the same time, and she’d put on jeans instead of shorts even though it was hot out. She was afraid—and she knew it was an irrational fear—that her period might leak out of the side of her underpants and then the blood would run down her legs and if she wore shorts then everyone would see.

He said as he slowly neared me. I felt the overwhelming fear come over me that it always had when it came to Neil, and it was paralyzing! This can't be happening! I can't go back with him, Luna! I'm so scared! Don't worry, I got your back! Luna vowed. She took some control and I felt the fear go away, it was replaced by unbridled rage! I felt it boiling throughout my body as Luna spoke through me! "Her name is Virginia Rae Elliot! NOT Ginny!"

Lila moaned, her eyes closed. Ryan gasped and opened his mouth near her neck. His sharp fangs and strong teeth slowly grazed her delicate skin. He wanted to bite her hard, wanted to teach her, to own her… His body jerked backward and he pressed his palm over his mouth, stifling a groan of desire and pain. “Go back to your room. Now!” Lila was terrified by his frightening voice—a tone she had never heard before, as if he weren’t human. She ran out of his room, clutching her nightgown tightly against her chest. Her trembling body betrayed her fear.

Lauren moves fast. One second she’s frozen in the doorway, eyes locked on the phone in my hand. The next, she’s lunging at me like a cornered animal. Her fingers clamp around my wrist, nails digging into my skin as she wrenches the phone from my grip. “You sneaky bitch!” she screams. The sound snaps something inside me. All the fear drains out, replaced by heat—hot, sharp, uncontrollable. My wolf surges forward, claws scraping at the inside of my skin, demanding blood.

As I closed the distance, the acrid stench of fear suddenly hit my nose. Why is he so scared? I tried to think, but my Lycan was too fascinated with the small pup we were currently staking out. The beast let out a low, vibrating growl of interest, which quickly melted into a soft, confused whine when it saw the pup trembling. Then, the pup fell to his knees in the dirt, looking utterly defeated, before he forced himself back up to leave the clearing. The Lycan did not like that movement at all. He didn’t want the pup to leave his sight. Against my will, my powerful Lycan legs compressed, and the white beast jumped straight out of the bushes at the fleeing pup.

"A little push." Lina flinched hard, a small, quick jump that clearly showed her terror. Her eyes quickly looked between me and Lucian, a raw, open fear blooming in them, a quiet scream. Her hands dropped from her collar, grabbing the silk fabric as if it was the only thing protecting her from the terrible reality happening around her. Her chest moved up and down, taking in rough, desperate breaths, each one showing how scared she was.

she yelled and banged the door furiously. "It......I....t me Li..ly Lilly Winter" she stuttered. "I know what you'll be thinking right now, that I am a coward but that's the truth, I am really scared of Gabriella Scot, she is a scary person and ten times meaner than Jessica Bane", she thought to herself.
