They were bickering on who would carry me and I rolled my eyes. ‘Fine. But when we feel the mate bond, we are telling them. End of that story.’ Raine chuckled and nodded. ‘Alright. I can agree to that. Now, let’s start running.’ I smiled and took off into the forest. Justin and Ethan were so wrapped up in their argument that they didn’t realize I had already taken off for a good few minutes. Then, I was joined on my run by two furry wolves. They flanked me as I continued to run. Pushing myself, I picked up speed and tried to at least give them a little bit of a challenge. I’d never been as quick a

I was debating on giving it 4 stars because there is a lot of spelling errors. There is also a dead point but around chapter 70 it picks up speed fast. It definitely keeps you hooked with all the twists and turns. Great story line. Abrupt ending but I hope a sequel has started

I LOVED Sky’s story! Such an incredible read!!! I wish we heard where her friends/bandmates ended up but still. Praying for a second to see what happens with Heath and how Ethan (and hopefully Justin) deal with all that will be thrown at them!

Lisa was frozen, her eyes locked on the crate. There was no time. I lunged forward, grabbing Lisa by the arm and yanking her toward the exit. “Run!” I shouted, my voice hoarse with urgency. There was no time to explain, no time to do anything but move. Lisa didn’t hesitate. She ran, her hand still gripping mine as we sprinted for the door. My heart pounded in my chest, each step feeling like an eternity. The ticking of the bomb was like a countdown in my mind, each second bringing us closer to the end.

No eyes on me. Something driving by caught my attention, and I looked outside. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Just as I was about to turn back around, I noticed a black car with black out windows parked. Down the street a bit. In the middle of the phone shop and here. Something about it set me on edge. Then the old women’s words echoed in my head. “Do not let them see you seeing them” noted. I noticed that on the counter they have some random items. Would any of them be useful? Let’s see there’s chapstick, glue, thumbtacks, tape, bookmarks, hand sanitizer, gum and oh! Perfect a little compact mirror. I go up to the counter to grab the mirror and decide to grab some tape, glue, a couple

Jerika ran inside her house and then inside her room. She opened her cupboard which had a small safe in it. She opened the safe using the code only known to her and there lies a pen drive. She stare at the pen drive intensely and then brought it out as it was time to run away but as she was running to exist, she was startled when she heard a familiar voice.

The Pacific-Capital: A Cyberpunk Story

The Pacific-Capital: A Cyberpunk Story

The Triad salesman pauses, looking a bit confused “What brings you to the Tea Shop anyway?” “14K always gets the good stuff. Bit of a 26D institution.” The Triad salesman smirks, lowering his guard as he signals a henchman to open up a huge crate lined up with a few drones. Spider types, rolling balls, a dog one and of course runners. Runners were anthropomorphic, highly customizable, and preferred by megacorps due to their reliability in nearly every terrain. The human form was always adaptable. “How much are the runners?” she asks, pointing at the one covered in smooth bluish white paint. It had

Rachel “Jayce, can’t you drive fast,” I sighed, staring at the time on my phone. I promised Brandon that I’ll be there in five minutes, but it was half an hour, and still on the road. “I can't drive faster than this, it's dangerous,” he said, ignoring my road with his eyes focused on the road. I know it's not Jayce's fault but I’m still stressed, maybe because of the energy that Brandon and Jane are facing right now. I hope and pray that there isn’t anything serious and that Marline is fine.

Aki-chan waited by the counter eagerly for him to pick up. “Good morning, Kake-chan.” He said, his voice a rumble, when he picked up. “Good morning.” I replied. Aki-chan followed. “Good morning! Aki is here too!” “Eh? Aki-chan? What is it, in the morning?” I could hear the smile in his voice. “It’s nearly 11:00 am.” I said. “Speaking of… did you just wake up?” “That… would be correct.” He admitted. “Thanks to you.”
