“Listen to me, Amara. If you know what’s good for you, you’d better go out there and find a good man—someone who’ll marry you. Because I, Luna Anita, will not let you remain single until my sons return. I won’t let them fight over you again. If you don’t find a suitor soon, I’ll find one for you—and you might not like my choice.”
Her voice dropped to a dangerous calm. “So think carefully, Amara. And act quickly.”
With that, Luna Anita turned and stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind her.
