Narrator's Pov Joe ran down the stairs. He had to run. How could he hear what these freakish demons were saying? They wanted to speak with him. Tell him what? He hated what was happening He was running in his patient clothes, no shoes. How did he get into this mess? He ran through the hallway and shut the door behind him. The demons seemed to rally behind the door, hitting against the door with all their might. Mina must have been lenient with her story. The Mitos were clearly his worst nightmare.

𝘼𝘽𝘽𝙄𝙀 I was still slung over Demon’s shoulder when we got home. He didn’t put me down—no matter how much I yelled, kicked, or protested. Eventually, I was the one who gave up. Demon wasn’t the type of person to start a competition with. He does only what he wants to do, and not what anyone tells him. Always unpredictable. I can never know what runs through his mind. Whenever I think he’d do something, he ends up doing the opposite.

He wanted to turn and look at Andy, but he couldn't pry his eyes away from the real threat… the demon. The demon was slowly making its way towards us, leaving a fire trail beneath his feet. His body was like hardened lava, black with cracks of red and radiating heat that could be felt many feet away. My heart raced with worry as my palms became sweaty with anxiety. I wasn’t sure what the demon would do, but I knew it was not good. He will end us all without a thought, only leaving whatever or whoever he wants to take. In this case, I don’t think it’s any of us.

“Caution never hurts. You need to be prepared for shuffling zombies." Dave made a contemptuous throaty sound. "Please. They are just as dangerous or focused as the demon that summons them. Most will give up before the fight gets interesting." I never knew how serious to take Dave. He was a good guy, even with dark red skin, purest black eyes, and occasional bouts of uncontrollable anger. But nobody is perfect. “I swear,” he continued. “Most demons have ADD2. As soon as things start to get better, they leave to start some new shit. That's why they never finish anything."

He clenched his hands tightly into fists fighting with whatever was inside him, trying to suppress whatever was trying to come out. ‘Collin, am losing you, something is pushing me to the back, I tried fighting but it’s too strong.’ Said Carl in Collin’s head. ‘I know, am trying too, do you know what this is?’ he asked ‘No but whatever it is, I share you with it and now it wants to come out and it's pushing me aside. Am afraid I can’t fight it anymore.’ Said Carl ‘Then let go.’ When he said that Carl who was barely holding on to their sanity let go and he was immediately pushed to the back of Collin’s head and the demon took his place and taking over Collin as well.

“The windows won’t budge. The thing trapped us in here. When—When it gets me, I need you to run. Go upstairs and check the windows. Break one if you can. Just get out of here. Tell Nova how sorry I am.” The demon stood from what was left of Denver and turned towards Coop. It’s eyes shone like two chunks of coal. Endlessly hungry, and endlessly cruel. As the candles flared to life, it vanished. Again and again the flames came and went. Each time it got closer and closer to Coop. “Run, Ophelia!” But I didn’t want to run. I didn’t want to leave him here to be torn apart. I couldn’t. I couldn’t do it.

The door to the room I was, flew open, revealing the demon himself, dressed in his all black glory, he was holding a gun, he looked over at me and smirked, dropping the gun on his table, he walked over to his dresser, taking off his rolled up sleeve suit. "You know this is low right, even for you." I said. "I'll take the risk." His very sweet voice echoed around the room, damn, how I've missed that voice. "Lemme guess, you want to 50 shades of gray me." I said, Sacarsm dripping from my words. He gave a full rich laugh, taking off his pants and sliding on his black joggers. "Hmm, kinda." He said. "Look Tyler, in order to avoid any nonsense in the future, just let me go." I said, although, I k
